Description

Mark Lamplugh is a fourth-generation firefighter and former captain with the Lower Chichester (PA) Fire Company. Mark is working with Institute for Responder Wellness and Deer Hollow Recovery with their First Responder Trauma program.  Lamplugh is also Nationally recognized in Crisis Stress Intervention through the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. He has helped hundreds of firefighters, police officers, veterans, EMS personnel, and civilians nationwide find help for addiction, alcoholism, PTSD, and mental health support. Joining Mark on this episode of Firefighter Wellness Radio is recently retired Oklahoma City firefighter and Major Chris Fields. The world remembers Chris from the Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph of him carrying one-year-old Baylee Almon from the Oklahoma City bombing rubble. Many lives were changed that day in Oklahoma and Chris is going to tell us his story and commitment to helping others. ?
