OVERVIEW
According to a 2016 Content Marketing Institute report, 88 percent of B2B brands are using content marketing, most likely because of its cost-effectiveness when compared to other marketing methods. Traditionally, brands used plain old copywriting to get their message across. Today, there are newer (and cheaper) ways of engaging your target audience and increasing your web traffic (without keyword stuffing or any other methods that might get you penalized by Google).
Content marketing has exploded over the last few years because companies are realizing the importance of incorporating it into their marketing strategies. Nearly 70 percent of marketers lack a consistent or integrated content strategy. And having content without a content strategy is a big no-no. Not if you're taking this seriously and you actually expect content marketing to work for you.
However, a lot of entrepreneurs don't realize there's a difference between copywriting and content writing and often use the terms interchangeably. In reality, copywriting and content writing are actually two different things, that when used together, can have tremendous benefits for your business, regardless of size.
Content marketing can be effective at any stage of business.
So if you're ready to take your company to the next level with content marketing, you've come to the right place. I can teach you the importance of using both content AND copy, a strategy not very many people are using just yet. I'm also going to teach you the basics of how to create a content marketing plan for your content so you're not just randomly and blindly posting without any direction or a cohesive strategy for tying everything together so that you're portrayed as a real, genuine brand that people actually want to connect with.
So, what do you say?
Are you ready to use content marketing to transform your business beyond what you ever thought it could be?
Let's dive in.
Chapter 1: What Is Copywriting?

and that couldn't be closer to the truth. A lot of people assume that you need to be a good salesperson to be a good copywriter, but that's not always the case. Essentially, you're writing to the customer as
