      Why We Wrote This Book

      We realize how difficult it can be to learn a language. Most often learners do not know where to start and can easily feel overwhelmed at tackling a new language.

      At Touri, we have identified a gap in the market for engaging, helpful and easy to read French stories for an intermediate level. We believe it is much easier to understand words in context in story form as opposed to studying verb conjugations or learning the rules of the language. Don’t get us wrong, understanding the construction of the language is important, but the more practical approach is to learn a subset of words that you as a learner can practice with today.

      Our goal is to provide learning material that is engaging to make learning French fun. We want you to feel confident when speaking with native speakers, even if it’s just a few words. The key is to focus on building a foundation of commonly used words and you’ll be setting yourself up for long-term success.

      How To Read This Book

      Intermediate French Short Stories Vol 1 is filled with engaging stories, intermediate vocabulary and memorable characters that make learning French a breeze!

      Each story has been written in with you the reader in mind. The best way to read this book is to:
