Maybe you have a clue, but it just doesn't seem to add up. Well, let me make it easier for you. Let’s start off with the definition of the anti-inflammatory diet, then we will take it from there.
What is the anti-inflammatory diet? The anti-inflammatory diet is a diet that has the ability to reduce the response of inflammation in the body by means of food. Yes, you heard me- by just watching the food we eat. An anti-inflammatory diet is quite unique in the way it works. It’s more like a blessing from the universe, in disguise. The only problem is that its popularity is still quite low. I believe people would no longer suffer from an inflammatory disease, if only they would take up the act of eating healthy.
As funny as it may sound, just watching what we eat we can actually prevent, and in most cases, stop illness before it stops us. Take a look at the anti-inflammatory diet for an example, even though it is our main topic of discussion. It is important to know that there are also different health beneficial diets; you can also try it.
The anti-inflammatory diet is a diet that replaces the processed and refined foods, as well as sugary foods, with a more nutritional, and whole food. So, you can just imagine what the anti-inflammatory diet should look like. Junk food and the like are literally scraped off the diet. Pretty cool, I would say. The antioxidants in the anti-inflammatory diet also contribute to how cool this diet is.
Basically, we can say the anti-inflammatory diet is that effective for reducing inflammation because of the increased antioxidants it possesses. The antioxidants in the anti-inflammatory diet can be referred to as the reactive molecules in the diet that drastically reduce the free radicals in the food. While I may be an expert on the matter of this diet, it still amazes me every time I talk about it. With all of the benefits it has, I wouldn’t mind eating the anti-inflammatory diet for the rest of my life!
And to just add this in, imagine that the anti-inflammatory diet is beneficial to our health, big-time. To top that all, imagine that it’s actually something you would always want to eat. This means that you could get to enjoy all the health benefits attached to a meal, not like some gross concoction, but a regular meal. I really need to emphasize on this a little bit more. Because it seems to me as though I am not emphasizing it enough. A meal is actually a drug here, or so to say. I feel like what we need is not more pharmacist, but more dietitians who would make us understand, in detail, all the cool secrets that lie within our food.
So, the way the anti-inflammatory diet works is quite simple. There is this substance, almost like a hormone, called prostaglandin. This prostaglandin is a hormone-like substance that is capable of regulating inflammation in the body. The cool part is that the prostaglandin can be created by eating an anti-inflammatory diet. So, what I am simply trying to say in layman’s terms is that an anti-inflammatory diet can produce a hormone-like substance called prostaglandin in the body, which is capable of regulating or stopping inflammation permanently.
So far, we have been dangling around what the anti-inflammatory diet is, but now let's jump into some real details. Let us go right into the world of science to uncover what truth really lies beneath the world of science. It is
