Spring -
Is the season of new beginnings.
ALIVE
Bring us back to the days when it was simple and clear
We don't have to be afraid, because there is nothing to fear
For another day has past and a new one is here
Awake to the mom all covered in dew
The moon wept just before the sun came a new
Nature arose as the bluebirds flew
You’re at peace with the world; so look up to heaven
As you catch a final glimpse of the moon's face slowly fading; It is now
seven
Beaming lights flood your being as thoughts flow through your mind;
now it's eleven
Don't judge the day the way it enters your life
It comes in on a whim, though it can cut like a knife
Darkness enters, as the light slowly demise; Twinkling maps now enter
your life
It happened before you came into this world and it will happen when
you have gone
It’s something to look forward to as time goes on...
Beauty By Chance
Articulate, creative, it’s your God-given talent to study and master, to pass it on to generations here and for those who will come to pass
To touch people with natural beauty and elegance, in a sermon of true class, it is like being enlightened in his insightful mass
No one can take it from you nor can it be bought, it runs through your soul as it enchants your being, only you can capture the graces he left us in the world; so we might get a glimpse of his everlasting love for each and every one of us
You give yourself to the pursuit of finding a better way to express the color spectrum of a prism and take it one step further; never giving up the challenge, for that you are truly perilous
Passion has driven you through your life, though it may cut like a knife; you look through the day and find new dawn in every morrow, their great pasts are in your future
Though sometimes it may seem in an obscure light, your plight will be not in vain, it will push you further than you could ever imagine; like the great poets in literature
You will capture it in a sonnet of color and of life, they are the verses of your soul, as it is the window to the man that you are, for all to look through
There are not many like you now and there might not be many to come to pass; your time is now, so embrace it with of your might, but I guess that you already knew...
Bond
Although we are not bound between blood
We will always share a common bond, as
simple as that sounds
I will always treasure what we have found...
Confessions of a...
A shower of lights seem to swim behind my eyes
No one can feel the heat emanating as can I
Like a sparkler on the 4th of July
The tip burns like a molten ember so you can write your name in the sky
As futile as it may seem, though some might think it is just silly drivel
I can feel the movement of the earth beneath my feet spinning on its axis, my head swirls
My eyes lose focus; I cannot speak, muted, silent
The only way to keep my sanity is to lay here in the dark, where the cold can find my eyes
And it can freeze my brain so that I might see again, hear again, speak...
Courageous
Come hence and look up to the light, strong you will fight; battled the
demon in your past
Nothing can stop you, you could take on the world; the possibilities are
at your grasp
Your heart beats deep as your soul burns bright, your mind vast with
knowledge from both education and of experience. you have learned from
living your life; with eyes alert and ready to take the chance
To your heart be true and for that, you will take your stance
Express yourself through your works of art, they are colored in
patterns and they are arranged to be sung aloud for the world to hear
So don't be afraid, there is nothing to fear
With your kind heart, you always try to give everyone the world
But all they want is your love to hold and that will be unfurled
Cast a warmth over all that you come to pass, touched the lives of
those that are in your past
For that, you are not thought of last
Kind to all big and small you embrace Mother Nature at her greatest,
taking her into your home as well as your heart
You made her life better and for that, she will never forget, for that she is
smart
So keep your faith and love yourself for who you are
And you will definitely go far.
Crystal Blue
Looking through your crystal blue eyes;
I can see straight through to your soul;
the ora of your being
That is what I‘m seeing
In your eyes I can get lost in your thought;
in your dreams
It's not enough to see, all I can do is dream
Being with you the closer I feel
Sometimes it feels so unreal
Could you be the missing piece of my life
A flashback of another life
So I'll search in your eyes till I find out if it‘s right
Till then I won't lose sight...
Dream Field
I came upon a field of dreams, where the sweet smell of roses floated
upon the breeze
I looked into strangers’ eyes, void of love, filled with nothing but pain
I came upon the fallen trees
As I looked at their solemn refrain
I came upon a broken moon he was shattered because the sun left
him again
I looked into his saddened eyes
I smiled and reassured him as a friend
Tears began to well up, together as we cry
I came across a frog setting upon a lily pad
He said, Kiss me and all of your dreams will come to pass.
I knelt down to kiss him but he swam away, this made me terribly sad
I sat upon the edge of a babbling brook and a leprechaun appeared to
me as he called me bonnie lass
I drifted off into a dream, filled with memories of you
You shot an arrow straight through my heart
To you, I only could be true
Because you will always be in my heart...
Dream of an Insomniac
I cannot sleep, I cannot dream
Though my eyes are shut tight
I cannot lull, I cannot fall
The sheep have been put to sleep
The numbers are infinite
Nothing to keep me company
Except for these words
They trickle from my pen
Full of who I am
Passionate and full of love
I am free...
Dreamer
I see you through dreams that have been cast
They come to me from times from the future and of the past
It's never the same, still, they happen so fast
Through lands so wide and so very vast
You could be my knight in shining armor and I am your maid
As you stare down the dragon with your eyes of Jade
You are brave and strong as you cast your blade
Merriment is ours in the nightshade
Or you could be my hero and I am your damsel in distress
I am caught up in a tower which you can gain no access
You prove that you would rather die without my sweet caress
Pledging your true love
