PRAISES FOR THE FATHER I KNOW
According to 1cor 4 verse 15, ‘though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, you yet have not many fathers’ and so God has deliberately placed this book before you to give you a great insight and powerful understanding of the purpose of every father

Pharm. Adeniji Oluyemi
The Father I know' is a book written for all that pant for more from the life of the father they have. The book should not be degenerated to depict fathers that are in one way or the other inadequate in care for their seed, but actually shows that no matter all you can do as a father( or want as a child); you are limited in power, resources and time to bring your children( or you as a child)into fulfilment. This book relays to all readers that only God can lead you as a father to be all your child needs; and as a child to see the limitless potential you can derive from God being your true father. The sooner both fathers and children put God in that position, the better it becomes. And to the fatherless, God is there for you, only see him. He is better than the best of fathers.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Writing a book like this would have been an almost impossible task without the support of my parents and my guardians; Mr and Mrs Bayo Oyebode, Mr and Mrs Taye Oyebode, Mr and Mrs Segun Adesanya, Pastor Femi Ashiwaju and his wife Dr. Olufunmilayo Ashiwaju. They laid the very foundation that led to the relationship I now have with the ultimate father of all and that is the reason why I have decided to make mention of them all in the chapters that follow.
Writing a book requires self-encouragement as well as encouragement from well-meaning friends and that is why I will not fail to mention the likes of Mr Efuwape Musiliu, Miss Shokeye Omolara, Miss Tolu Olusunmade, Mr Jide Salako, Pharm. Yemi Adeniji, Pharm. Stephanie Ugbor, Miss Abuja Oluwatobiloba, Pharm Uba Desire, Miss Tosin Oyebiyi, Pharm. Sophiat Agboola, Miss Ogu Precious. Most of this people not only encouraged me but also took part in editing the book.
Finally I am ever grateful to all my teachers and lecturers who had given me reasons to believe in myself. And also my spiritual leaders like Pastor Sunday Adebowale and Pastor (Mrs) Biodun Adebowale of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Great Grace Worship Centre with Pastor Isaac Ayodele and Evangelist Ayodele of The Lord of Mercy Church.

INTRODUCTION
I will like to say the this book was written based on the burden I have in my heart to share my life experience of how I had benefited from having people who had played the roles of a father at the various significant points of my life and how they have ultimately led me to the FATHER I KNOW with the hope that as you study each page of the book, you will get to know THE FATHER I KNOW.
This burden even gets deeper when I see people grope through life uncertain of what they want or who they really are due to the fact that at one point or the other in their lives they lost the father’s touch.
This book is divided into two major parts; the first part is made up of four chapter, in these chapters I spoke briefly about my relationship with the various fathers have been opportune to live with and how they had influenced my life. The second part is made up of the last four chapters which are centred on creating a relationship with THE FATHER I KNOW.
So I have written this book to let us know that above all things; in as much as a child needs the touch of an earthly father, he will as well be fatherless if he has no relationship with the heavenly FATHER.
Looking through the window of the facility where I practice, almost every day, I see this set of children, who put their life at risk every day to feed themselves while cleaning vehicles’ mirror at traffic light junction.
On one or two occasions they have been hit by motor bike, bicycles or even cars at times and they had to be rushed to the pharmacy to get first aid, most times the culprit involved are not even ready to make payment for the health of this children because they feel no one is responsible for such children.
Sometimes the culprit involve walk out of the pharmacy claiming they are taking the child to another facility but to our amazement they just buy the child ice cream or food and walk away, leaving the child to suffer the pain. Most times when I asked after their parents, I hear all sort of stories and I am touched. So with my birthday approaching I decided to write a book to cheer these children.
Now this is not only peculiar to my country, of recent I decided to go through some write ups and it will amaze you what might happen (or it is already happening) if a collective intervention is not continually made to handle the needs of this set of individuals. I realised that a holistic approach will entail not just the physical needs but also a spiritual need and this book attempt to approach both.
Apparently I do hope that with the money generated from the sales of this book and donations from people of like minds we can help put smiles on their faces and lead them to FATHER I KNOW.
