Finding Your Way Out of Depression - Jhhay Arellano
Depression is a slaughterer!
It eats one's soul, slowly.
It is like you trapped yourself in a blizzard,
at start cold appears like usual.
But as the temperature drops,
the wintry is shedding you down.
Piece per piece,
it will consume your body
until you become numb and frozen.
It is like holding a rose
Bleeding through the thorns
Screaming each night
I’ll let it go!
Yet, you still hold it
by dawn.
Let’s talk about it.

Who Is Struggling With Depression
Hi! I know it's been a tough days, weeks, months or years for you. I know that the journey is a long, winding and lonely. And it's hard to find solace along the way, but look at you! You have made this far! Amidst at the shits happening around. You continuously walk to see the beauty in life and getting stronger every day. You owe it to yourself.
I know that to fight a battle with your own mind, with your own self is the hardest combat. I understand how the voices in your head took over your mind and made you think that you are all alone, and remove your soul to your chest.
