- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Just a really wonderful, well-presented collection of unique, modern, quick knits. I love the juxtaposition of open work stitches and chunky yarn and there's even (at least) one project suitable for guys. Absolutely worth checking out for all chunky yarn lovers, lace lovers, and especially those who enjoy lace stitches but don't get along with extrafine yarn and needles. That said, a number of pieces are adaptable for use with lighter yarn.
I am an intermediate-experienced knitter and found just a couple of directions a tad bit confusing but nothing I couldn't work through with some thought and not enough to be worth taking a star. It is largely crystal clear.1 person found this helpful
