It's a relatively short books covering great tips on speed reading while also explaining why it is beneficial.
I started on the audiobook because I'm not particularly fond of reading, but just throughout the book i noticed an increase in investment and speed (when i switched over to reading) Therefore i would definitely recommend reading it yourself above listening to the audiobook.

Within an hour, you will have discovered what speed reading is, why it is such a useful skill to learn, and how you can develop this skill. This book contains easy-to-follow tips and tricks that will soon allow you to quickly absorb anything you read with ease. You will learn the bad habits that are preventing you from reaching your reading potential, and discover simple yet effective ways to increase the number of words you are capable of reading and retaining per minute. This book contains tricks and tips that help you grasp the concept of balancing reading and life better through speed reading. You can find a balance between meeting life’s requirements and finding time to dive into a good book. This is through speed reading. The initial parts of this book contain the various benefits of speed reading as well as the stages of speed reading. We will then move on to the numerous techniques which can aid speed reading and make it second nature.

Reading is one of those activities in life that people do for leisure, information, and to satisfy their need to learn more. While we do a lot of reading on a computer, cell phone, or tablet on a day to day basis, some would say that reading for leisure is an activity that has been dying a slow death. Primarily because of the amount of time we spend interacting with technology. Reading has been pushed down on our list of priorities.

Finally, we are going to cover how to make speed reading your habit. This book is the perfect guide to help you hone your skills. Through this book you can learn how to speed read and even be able to start these skills today. The transition to speed reading can be painful for those attached to books and prefer to slowly devour it word by word, but can prove to be useful for those who find reading to be tedious and want to get the information in a more effective manner.

Chapter 1: What Is Speed Reading?

By now, I’m going to guess that you are arriving at a better understanding of what speed reading is. It refers to the practice of being able to absorb the linguistic information presented to you in any format, as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thus, speed reading is a practical skill that you are planning to acquire. As I touched upon earlier, speed reading is something that is beginning to take more firm roots in today’s fast-paced world, where every task and every expectation involves things happening at a much quicker rate than what we were previously used to. Apply this concept to reading, and speed reading is a skill that will make sure you’re able to achieve this goal!

Try to picture this in your head, though I suspect you find this idea intriguing enough already. Think about being able to do tasks and fulfill responsibilities much earlier than is expected of you,
