      Foreword

      I feel extremely honored to have been invited to write the foreword for this book, which is on a subject close to my own heart. I have had what I believe to be many angelic interventions in my life, including one time when I had walked up Glastonbury Tor in England very early one morning in order to watch the sunrise. It was extremely windy, and as I started to descend, I was genuinely afraid the wind was going to blow me right off the hill.

      I quickly sent out a prayer to the angels, requesting that the weather become calm and still for me to get safely down off the Tor. (I always ask the angels for what I want the outcome to be, not what I do not want.) In that instant, the wind suddenly stopped. Completely! Barely even a ruffle of the grass beneath me. Although I'd already had several experiences of the angels changing the weather for me at that point, I was still quite taken aback at just how rapidly the wind had changed.

      Filled with enormous gratitude, I had a safe and pleasant walk down the hill, and as soon as I got to the gate at the bottom, the wind started up again in full force!

      In fact, later that day I spoke to a few other people who were also attending the course with Doreen Virtue, author and angel therapist, there in Glastonbury. They said it had been too windy to go up the Tor, and that was not long after I had got down. It was yet another powerful reminder of the gifts the angels bring us when we ask.

      This is why the book you hold is so important, both in terms of reminding us that the angels are always with us to help us whenever we need them and show us how to recognize their guidance so that we can truly receive the blessings they have for us every day.

      Maybe you have wondered whether something that happened to you was actually an angelic intervention, and the experiences shared in this book might help to confirm it for you. Or perhaps you often feel alone in the world, and these heartfelt stories will bring you some comfort as you realize we all have a guardian angel watching over us at all times. Or you might even have known about angels all your life and feel reassured when you realize you are not the only one, and you are certainly not crazy! My own experience has been that whenever I have spoken about angels with others, they usually have their own stories too, so it is not actually as unusual as you might think.

      Whatever your current beliefs, I hope you receive exactly what you need from reading this lovely book that I am sure you will reach for many times.
