      WELCOME TO KAREN’S Riddles for Kids! This book contains an amazing assortment of riddles just for you!

      Riddles have literally been around for thousands of years. Ancient literature and legends tell the stories of famous riddles being posed to adventurers and heroes in order to test their brainpower and not just their muscles.

      Did you know there are two types of riddles? There are conundrum riddles and enigma riddles. Conundrum riddles are puns or jokes. Enigma riddles are puzzles or brainteasers that you need to figure out using logic. As much as we all love a good pun, this book is mostly enigma riddles. However, we did throw in a few funny jokes and riddles to keep you on your toes!

      While this book is intended for our younger friends, adults are encouraged to give these riddles a try. It’s good for you and keeps those brain cells firing!

      Our riddles are broken down into sections including one with some easier riddles and another with some tougher ones. Also included are chapters of fun trivia facts you might not know!

      Good luck! And if you don’t succeed at first, try again! And again! And again!

      Chapter 1 - The Easy Ones

      HERE ARE SOME SIMPLER riddles to get you warmed up. How many can you solve?

      Question: What types of flowers have two lips? 

      Answer: Tulips.

      Question: I must travel very far before I will turn over for the first time. What could I be?

      Answer: You are an odometer in a car.

      Question:  What has no key, hinge, or a lid, yet has a golden treasure hidden inside?

      Answer:  An egg.

      Question:  What is a question you can never honestly say yes to?

      Answer:  Are you asleep?

      Question:  I have one neck but I don’t have a head, and I only have two arms but I have no hands? What do you think I am?

      Answer:  You are a shirt.

      Question:  I have this golden head and this golden tail but I have no body to go with them. What am
