About this ebook

Like many I spent the first fifty years of my life trying to define who I was and living a life that I felt this self-made person deserved. I was fortunate to have many wonderful experiences in those first fifty years and also had many instances of immature behavior that resulted in divorces and the accompanying sense of personal failure. I was fortunate to have a positive attitude and always “picked myself up, dusted myself off, and started over again”. At age fifty-one I experienced the end of my accumulated life as the self-made man and started a journey that is still unfolding.

My insane thinking, a result in part of my addiction to alcohol, led to behavior that resulted in my third divorce. This was very traumatic for me because my old self had vowed to make this marriage last till my death and its demise was shattering. I dealt with desires to kill myself and finally an analyst suggested I try AA as a means of showing my wife that I was serious about change. I did this but to no avail, the divorce proceeded on schedule. However, I did not leave AA, I felt I belonged among my fellow drunks and that life was getting better without the booze. I went back to church but soon realized why I had left in the first place. I began reading one metaphysical book a week and finally was led to “A Course in Miracles”. It has become my primary spiritual path to peace of mind and its teachings continue to increase the peace, love and joy in my life. So began my new life.

This book contains musings written over the last fifteen years of my spiritual journey. There are articles, dialogues, ideas, complete and incomplete.

One of the great lessons on my journey is that I know nothing. I have found that thinking I know something has led me right into wrong-mindedness and eventually loss of peace of mind and therefore making it impossible to extend the love that I am. This thought continues to humble me and makes my mind more open to guidance and results in more peace of mind.

My mom, Margaret (Peg) Baxter (from Peekskill, NY), went to nursing school in New York City and worked at NYC Hospital. One of her classmates and co-workers, Isabelle Donnelly (from Scranton, PA), introduced her to her brother Richard. They dated, got married and had a son Richard, the author of this book. About one year later, when mom was pregnant again, they moved to Scranton, PA. My two sisters, Margaret and Rosemary, were born in the next 2-3 years in Scranton. Unfortunately, my father passed when I was five and my mother accepted a job in her hometown as the Superintendent of Nursing at the Peekskill Hospital. My sisters and I were placed in foster homes for about two years until my mother could arrange housing for the family. Once mom was promoted to Peekskill Hospital Administrator the family was together again and things returned to normal.Graduated from Peekskill High School.BS from University of Scranton (Education-Chemistry and Mathematics)MA from University of Northern Colorado (Communications-Emphasis on Human Relations)USAF (1962-1984)-Mississippi, Germany, Virginia, California, South Dakota, Hawaii.McDonnell Douglas (1985-1999)-MissouriWentzville Chamber of Commerce (2001-2005)-MissouriChildren: Jason Christopher Donnelly HuntGrandchildren: Zachariah (Zac) Hunt and Camden HuntWife’s: Doris Werner (mother of son, Jason) from Nieder-Ramstadt, Germany; Shirley Swindler from Mott ND and Jaye Douglas from Orange NJ.Significant other: Debbie Rauschelbach from Wentzville MO

    PREFACE

Namaste! May your life be joyous, happy and free.

Like many I spent the first fifty years of my life trying to define who I was and living a life that I felt this self-made person deserved. I was fortunate to have many wonderful experiences in those first fifty years and also had many instances of immature behavior that resulted in divorces and the accompanying sense of personal failure. I was fortunate to have a positive attitude and always picked myself up, dusted myself off, and started over again.

I began reading one metaphysical book a week and finally was led to A Course in Miracles. It has become my primary spiritual path to peace of mind and its teachings continue to increase the peace, love and joy in my life. So began my new life.

This book contains musings that I have written over the years in my new life, there are articles, dialogues, ideas, complete and incomplete. As individual files on my computer I found they tended to get lost in all the other clutter, so I decided to put them in a separate volume that can more easily be read. If you are motivated to read some of this volume, I hope you find it helpful, interesting and/or thought provoking.

    Peace, love and joy, Richard

    Chapter One

    Stage Two

    STAGE TWO INTRODUCTION (4/15 &1/19)

I seem to be getting guidance that it is time to get serious about awakening the mind and putting aside the toys of the ego. It is time to stop writing about the world and my perception of it and focus on the awakening of the mind exclusively. Although the writings in the past were part of my path then and have helped greatly to get me to where I am today the realization has dawned on my mind that I have been moving back and forth between focusing on duality and oneness. It is time to leave dualistic thinking and focus on the Truth, oneness.

Writing itself is dualistic but the writings now will mainly focus on the mind and not the world of separation (time, space and form). I have been guided for some time now to focus on observing the dream unfold and to being aware of my thoughts as I see/perceive things that appear in my consciousness. It will be interesting to see where this new approach leads. I am open to this and my mind, with the help of Self, will attempt to remain open to guidance and prompts. I currently perceive this as a major shift away from having one foot in separation and the other foot in remembering the Truth to both feet being focused on remembering the Truth. Experiences in time, space and form will continue to provide opportunities for healing of the mind so I will still be in the world but more and more conscious of the fact that I am not of the world of time, space and form. It all seems a little confusing and exciting at this junction, but it will be interesting to see what develops.

I wrote the above four years ago and have to admit that although there are fewer articles, my random thoughts in the last three years remain mainly focused on the world of time, space and form. I accept this as my path and am coming to a point where the use of multiple teachers is very important to my awakening process. I have been motivated to explore the teachings of many but primarily, ACIM, Eckhart Tolle, Mooji, Tony Parsons and Rupert Spira that have expanded my understanding of the finite experience in time, space and form. The journey of experiences continues!

    I

    FIRST PIECE (5/30/15)

It has been over a month since I moved to Stage Two in this process and I have not been motivated or guided to write about anything. This morning I am motivated to sit at this computer and just allow the thoughts in my mind to pour forth.

I have recently been mentally playing with thoughts about the whole picture of the experience of separation from Source. I put together a spreadsheet a couple of months ago going from Undifferentiated Oneness to Duality to Time and Space to Form to Non-physical to Individual Spirit to Levels of Spirits and Physical to Universe to Corporeal Intelligent Conscious Being to kinds of beings to Gender, Race, Geography, Nationality to Beliefs. This chart could indicate how we are evolving depending on the direction of our thoughts, words and deeds. (See attached)

My listening to many interviews during May on Sounds True about the subject of Awakening or Waking Up may have influenced this session. Also, during the month of May I have been listening and viewing The 30 Day Experience with David Hoffmeister based on his new book Unwinding Your Mind. A few months ago, I completed reading, Transcending the Levels of Consciousness by Dr. David Hawkins, which has also influenced my thinking these last few months.

There were 34 interviews provided by Sounds True and I listened to most of them, at least partially. Based on the questions of the interviewer there seems to be a need by many for better understanding of what it is to awaken or be awakened or enlightened. Although most of the interviewees represented spiritual paths of Eastern traditions it was very interesting. It appeared to be a marketing event since most if not all interviewees sponsored events and/or sold books, CDs or DVDs through Sounds True.

In these interviews there was quite a bit of discussion about the experience of awakening. For many it was a singular happening of the experience of oneness or the unhindered opening of the mind to all that is. For some it was a gradual process of experiences. Very few lived a life experience where they remained in oneness at all times and circumstances. Many had experienced what I have heard others refer to as revelation, oneness with everything, bliss, etc.

All this additional information and stimulus over and above my daily routine of ACIM lessons, meditation and journaling brought my attention back to the spreadsheet I had constructed earlier in the year. As I have written previously, I got on this path by coming to the realization that what I really wanted in life was peace of mind regardless what appeared to be happening around me. I was guided to A Course in Miracles over twenty years ago and it is still working for me and remains my path of choice.

It would appear to me that everyone, regardless of his or her path, is talking about the Universal Curriculum and this curriculum is about raising the consciousness of the Mind to remember and experience Undifferentiated Oneness. Almost all, if not all, paths teach that there is only one mind and that we as individuals represent a piece of the whole. Most refer to the process as an internal journey of self-discovery, a reconnecting with the wholeness or oneness of the Mind or the Divine. The emphasis is almost always on preparing the individual mind for the experience of oneness, revelation, bliss, etc. Most paths have exercises, meditation, prayers, etc. that will prepare the mind for the awakening experience(s).

The first step is to come to the realization that you are not a finite body in a finite universe that is the victim of forces external to the body. This is not an easy step and it takes many lifetimes to just come to this point and some do not reach it till they are on their deathbed or not at all. This could explain the need for reincarnation within the world. We often hear there must be a better way after one has an upsetting experience. This and other moments similar to this are an opening of the mind to explore other ways of seeing the world. Most of the time we just listen to others about the way of the world and travel that path until we hit another bump in the road and we again have there must be a better way thought. Eventually after the pain is too great, we may be ready to explore other probable remedies like religion, spirituality, consciousness, science, etc. There are those that do not have to go through this painful path and are just motivated to seek wisdom other than what the world offers. Regardless of the how that we are introduced to this new way of thinking it appears to be in the same direction that the whole of humankind and in turn the universe as a whole is headed.

If we are not a body, then what are we? This depends on where you are on the path to remembering undifferentiated oneness. For most we start with; we are spirit and have decided at some level to use the body as a communications tool to relate to others in the physical plane and also to experience form, time and space and enjoy the pleasures and the pains of being in a physical body. Depending on the path we have chosen we may deal with:

-a supreme being, normally referred to as God for many, who created the universe and ourselves and who wants us to act a certain way in order to earn our return to his presence, heaven, nirvana, etc.

-karma or past lifetime behavior that we need to undo in order to earn our return to his presence, heaven, nirvana, etc.

-a longing for union with the Divine, that includes an opening of the mind to the experience of oneness with all that is, revelation, bliss.

-numerous others that could be written by thousands of followers of different paths.

The point seems to be that we are all awakening, and we are all following different paths to get there. Granted there are those that deny any and all of this and believe they are just a body and when the body dies, they just go out of existence. They are in the minority more and more, but their beliefs are attractive to some, particularly those that must have physical, scientific proof of anything different then a reality of a physical universe with no god like philosophy.

So, if most of us are all moving in this general direction what does it all mean? And when you get there what happens to your life? Why do it or pursue a path of enlightenment? Could a possible answer be that for us on this planet, Earth, it is part of the evolution of the species of mankind? Could this same process be unfolding on other planets as well? Could the entire universe be awakening?

    II

    VIBRATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND CONSCIOUSNESS (6/15)

I am motivated to write about vibrational theory and its connection with awakening. I am not an expert in this area but over the years this theme has repeated itself many times. Recently it has been through Abraham Hicks material. So, what could be the relationship between vibrational theory and the experience of time, space and form?

Could the levels of consciousness expressed by Dr. David Hawkins indicate a way of measuring the vibrational content of thoughts? In other words, could the level of thoughts on the Hawking’s scale of consciousness equate to the vibrational experience in time, space and form?

If there is validity in this approach then the level of conscious thought on the Hawking’s scale could define the type of experiences an individual will experience in time, space and form. If this was accepted as a plausible theory of why we experience what we experience in time, space and form, awareness of this phenomenon might motivate some to focus on raising their individual consciousness and in turn vibrational level in an attempt to improve their experience in time, space and form.

So, if your goal is to improve your experiences in time, space and form by raising your consciousness as a physical being and that in turn raises your vibration then what would you have to do to accomplish this?

To begin this journey, you must first come to recognize and accept responsibility for the life you are currently experiencing and come to the realization that what you are experiencing is a direct result of your thoughts about life and who you think you are. In other words, you must believe that you have the power to change your life for the better by changing your thoughts about what and who you think you are. This is not an easy step and so we start this article at a point where you have come to this realization and are ready to accept responsibility for future experiences. If you still harbor thoughts of victimhood or being unfairly treated about yourself or others you are not ready at this point to begin this journey. Changing those beliefs is another growth opportunity you must become willing to take in order to prepare you for the growth this article discusses. For example, victimhood will keep one below 200 on the Hawkins' scale of consciousness and one must be at least at level 200 to experience positive consciousness growth and the raising of vibrations towards awakening of the mind. Below 200 is referred to as levels of falsehood and above 200 as levels of truth.

There are numerous ways or paths to raise consciousness and in turn raise your vibration as a physical being. There are so many ways available to the seeker today that there really is no reason to delay. There is no sacrifice required because you can pick from thousands of paths; metaphysics, spirituality, religion, science to mention the most obvious. And within each of these there are numerous areas, so you pick one that you find interesting or comfortable. The key is to choose to go forward, to change the status quo, to change how you think about your world and yourself. Regardless of what path you choose as you open your mind to truth you will find that you will begin to become interested in other subjects and paths. This is the way it works for most of us. It is important to pick a path and stay with it until you are motivated from within to seek again. Many seem to make no progress because they never stay with a path long enough for their consciousness and vibrational state to rise, they feel bored or a friend is on a different path that sounds more attractive to them. Remember there is a part of the mind that does not want to change. It is comfortable where it is, and it sees benefits in even the most negative experiences. So, this journey does require a willingness and commitment to see it through.

For me I have dabbled over the years in this and that. I started with an interest in Extrasensory Perception (ESP) and the power of the human brain. After a few years my mind was opened further by the writings of Ruth Montgomery and the Seth material. After my third divorce and dealing with an addiction I was ready to find a better way and opened my mind still further to numerous metaphysical concepts including a twelve-step program. I finally came across A Course in Miracles (ACIM) and it has become the foundation of my current path. This article is possible only after over twenty years of applying the teachings of ACIM and practicing the twelve steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Once you start this journey and experience levels of consciousness/vibration above level 200 will you always stay there? No, because your mind will still harbor thoughts/beliefs that you have been taught and you have accepted as truth since your entry into the physical plane. This is a process of purifying the mind so you can experience being at levels/vibrations above 200 most of the time. This is a lifetime journey and requires patience, dedication and persistence. There are no quick fixes, no silver bullets to awaken to what you are in truth. However, as you move forward you will experience more and more peace, love, joy, acceptance, forgiveness and many other beautiful moments. Gratitude will fill your heart and you will eagerly continue on the path knowing at some point that this is what you are and what your destiny in time space and form truly is.

You will not have to give up your profession or job to travel this path. You can and should bring your new-found presence with you to your given path in the world. Some will change their profession or job as a result of prompting from within, but it is not necessary. The world needs your presence in all careers, situations and circumstances. As you begin to awaken you will realize that all minds are joined at some level and your presence joins with other minds without words or acts of doing in form. Most go through what is called the preacher stage, you are so happy about what you have found you want to share it with all you come in contact with. Although a turn off to most you bring this excitement to, it is part of the process and you will quickly move on to just being without preaching. This is the stage where commitment and persistence are very important. Remain with your chosen path long enough so you know you have transformed your thinking and you are at peace with yourself and the world around you. You then become the example of how an awakened person acts in the world of form. As the consciousness of your mind rises, the consciousness of all minds rises and as your vibrational level increases those in your immediate vicinity feel your vibration at some level and this experience enhances their ability to rise also. When we talk about the transformation of the consciousness of humankind this is what it takes. It would be a mistake to think that those who awaken should separate from those still asleep or at a lower level of consciousness/vibration and only surround themselves with like-minded individuals. By the same token it does not mean that those awakening should band together to force change on the world that would, in their minds, force change in the population through politics, religion, laws, dogma, etc. Individuals must be willing to change, it cannot be forced on them.

The key to the path of awakening by raising one’s vibration and consciousness is that you learn to be who you really are. The raising of consciousness and in turn your vibrational level will manifest a life that represents this higher level of existence. You will identify with your source and you will be motivated by the inner or higher self and no longer by your ego. Your motivation will be to experience union with your source and in turn with all things physical and non-physical. You will be motivated to think, say and act by an inner knowing not by externals. As you approach this state you will experience peace of mind regardless of what appears to be happening in time, space and form. Your experience in time, space and form will become joyous, free and fearless. I welcome you on this journey with me and rejoice in joining with you in oneness.

    Peace, love and joy!!!

    III

    EVOLUTION (7-9/15)

Motivated again to write something. We ended with the idea of evolution of mankind as a possible why to this search for; why am I here, as Richard? If it is experience, consciously, of the evolution of mankind and that is all there is to it why the hurry, why the importance, why the rush to enlightenment? Can we just let it unfold as it will and allow the human race to advance as they advanced in the dream of separation from their source that was over long, long ago?

As we move towards higher consciousness (evolution) we seem to be moving toward a place where humankind will exist in form, time and space in a way that reflects our true identity as reflected by our state of consciousness as a whole. The world we see reflects where we are as a race in the growth of consciousness at this present moment. Many will move to higher states of consciousness while remaining unconscious while others will begin to wake up and move there consciously. But where are we moving to and again, why?

My perception is that more and more of our species are beginning to wake up and beginning to consciously evolve. I think the scale of human consciousness developed by Dr. David Hawkins is an excellent starting point for measuring our progress on this journey.

But before we delve into the details of measurement, we first need to acknowledge some of the obstacles along the way. Much of the behavior within the ranks of those consciously attempting this journey appear to be judgmental and contain arguments on which path is more correct compared to other paths and what behaviors, thoughts and deeds are needed to advance. It would appear that we are bringing some of our unconsciousness with us into this move to consciously move forward. Although this seems counter-productive it is probably part of the growth experience and we will learn over time to shed these lower consciousness methods.

Things are just not flowing, and I feel I am forcing this session and may be injecting some egoic material into the piece so I will come back to this at another time.

    ***

It is now September and I feel motivated to jump back into this article. Over the last few months I have had thoughts that the awakening of the world is the same as the awakening of the individual. What I mean by this is that as we awaken as individuals, we allow things to come to our conscious minds from our subconscious so we can deal with them. We normally give them to our higher self, Holy Spirit, Jesus, God, etc. and accept them as lessons in forgiveness of ourselves because no matter how difficult the ideas are, they are not real and had no effect on who we are in truth. Normally when we are ready to deal with a particular issue it comes up again and again so that it remains part of our awareness until we finally deal with it and it is gone. It may have come to mind many times in the past, but we were not ready to deal with it at that time, so we brushed it aside. Most of us have experienced this many times, with many issues as we travel the awakening path.

Many enlightened teachers around the world are saying that we, as the human race, are experiencing an acceleration of awakening. Those of us that are consciously on a path want this to be true in that it validates our desire to continue with our paths. Many would question this by pointing at the world and saying how can that be as we look at the violence, the hatred, the poverty, etc. I choose to see what is occurring as the evolution of the human race.

In a previous article I wrote about how it would seem that every other form of life on this planet manifests its true nature. From cells to animals, they just are what they are. They don’t anguish about why they are here, they just manifest in time, space and form as they truly are. We accept this as part of our reality. The only ones that don't seem to manifest what they truly are is the human species. Apparently, we do not yet know what we truly are and therefore we manifest in all kinds of ways trying to figure out, consciously and/or unconsciously, who we truly are so our manifestation can be as automatic as all other forms of life.

It now seems to me that as a race we are continuing to evolve consciously not physically. That being said as we evolve consciously there may be some changes in form but that is not the primary focus of the evolutionary path. There are some writers that liken this process to growing up, in other words we are becoming more mature at being and doing in time, space and form.

As we mature consciously, or grow up, we take many different paths that are all leading to the same point, some paths may be faster than others for some people. It does not matter as we move forward, whether it is spirituality, religion, science, metaphysics, et.al. Those that are drawn to consciously wake up will be drawn to the right path for them. As we wake up, we realize there is no right way or wrong way there is only the most helpful way for the individual. So, we come to realize that we are all moving in the same direction whether we all are aware of it or not.

As I touched on in the previous Chapter One, we experience things relative to our level of consciousness or our vibrational frequency. As we raise our consciousness, consciously or not, we will be drawn to and experience time, space and form that is compatible with that level of consciousness or vibration. As we become more aware of this process, we are less likely to blame or judge events that occurred in our past when the levels of consciousness were lower than they are in the present moment. We find it easier to forgive past manifestations of lower consciousness or vibration realizing that we are all moving forward as one race. We have compassion for the mistakes of the past and focus on manifesting the newfound consciousness and vibration in the present moment.

What about all this leads me to believe that the human race is on an accelerated path of evolution? I see, read and hear many talking positively about how people are becoming more aware of the issues facing the human race and how they experience their own lives. Similar to individual growth we are seeing issues come to the surface of our awareness and unlike in the past where they would be there for a day or two and then recede from our awareness, they are in our awareness day after day causing us to deal with them. And my personal experience in dealing with them is one of growth. My first reaction may have been X but after dealing with the issue for a few days it became X+ and then XY and then XYZ and then XYZA and on and on. It appeared that every time I changed my mind about an issue the more I grew. What are some of the issues that are coming to the surface for healing and the raising of consciousness? Here are just a few that are in our awareness every day:

    -Terrorism

    -War

    -Radical Islam

    -Social justice

    -Sexual identity/orientation

    -Economic inequality

    -Race relations

    -Individual liberty

These are just a few and each will bring up emotional issues depending on where you are on your path. What we see manifesting are fear, anger, intolerance and as we grow, we will see more love and tolerance.

This seems like a normal process and I believe we have to resist the temptation to judge others that have a different approach to solving any one particular issue. I believe it is important to realize they are where they are and our only function, as taught by ACIM, is to extend the love that we are and be truly helpful. When the individual manifests a consciousness/vibration lower than 200 on the Hawkins scale it is retarding the total consciousness of the entire race. For those that are consciously attempting to raise consciousness it is important not to be drawn to lower levels of consciousness on any individual issue. I think this calls for big picture thinking of looking at the human race as one entity and being consistent with thought, word and deed at all times. Rising above the battleground as ACIM says. This takes a great willingness and a great effort to resist the motivations of the ego that would appear logical and the right thing to do for any individual issue.

We may all want the same outcome on a particular issue, but we have different ideas on how we should manifest it. This, many times leads us into strong opinions, and we all know that opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. This sometimes leads to activism or emotional involvement on the part of the individual and when it does it is part of their path to awakening. As we all know by now the things we experience are tools to heal the mind so that the mind, when healed, can experience oneness with our source and in turn, with everything we perceive as separate from ourselves. Becoming overly identified with any experience can slow or retard consciousness growth. So, the experience is not right or wrong no matter how many people agree with you, it is only a tool in the awakening process to heal the mind. We need to be aware of dismissing others because of our perception of where they appear to be on any particular issue(s).

The next year or so will provide a wonderful opportunity for citizens of the United States to contemplate most if not all of the issues listed above in the 2016 Presidential election process. We will be fed information by all sides on all issues persuading us to support their approach to solve/manifest the solution to any given issue. We will be persuaded to vote for one party or another and one candidate or another in this controversial election. Many may find themselves not liking or judging others over issues. What a perfect opportunity for growth! Unfortunately, we have become a very divisive country over the last few decades and most of this divisiveness appears to be along political lines designed by the political class as a way to obtain votes to continue their ideology and power. That is their path to awakening and because of the failure of the political class to solve many of the issues facing this country many citizens are looking for a better way. There seems to be very little tolerance for meaningful dialogue on any issue. Most people seem to form their opinions and in turn their decisions based on sound bites from political figures, pundits and comedians they relate to or agree with. There seems to be very little depth of knowledge on any issue to seriously contemplate what approach would be best for raising the consciousness of the country. Whatever the outcome it will reflect the consciousness of the country. So as always, we who are consciously awakening must turn it over to a higher power, not the ego, for guidance of how to be consistent in thought word and deed.

All of this brings us right back to the beginning. It is not our role to change the world but to accept the world for what it is and attempt, through healing of the mind, to individually live a life that represents our true nature which is a loving, eternal spirit that has chosen to experience time, space and form. All of our experiences in time, space and form will bring us to this point. If you desire for this to occur earlier rather than later focus on the healing of your mind not on fixing the world of time, space and form.

    IV

    SPIRIT, MIND, FORM (10/15)

Within the last few months I have been motivated to focus on the balance and harmony of spirit, mind and body at the beginning of my meditations. I don’t know why I have been motivated to do this but I try to follow my prompts and so I have been focusing on the seven chakras for a few months and it seems to be working but I have experienced no discernable difference in my experience other than it does settle the mind and make it easier to exit time, space and form and move to a deeper level of mind. I am still a novice at experiencing being the space between thoughts, but I am learning to resist grabbing thoughts that are passing in my awareness. This is not an easy practice for me and my time in this state is normally short, but some days are better than others.

Today I had the thought that spirit (the memory of reality/truth) is outside of time, space and form and that the body is in time space and form with the mind being between the two and it is the mind that choses which to listen to. Some years ago, within the A Course in Miracles (ACIM) community, there were conversations about Ken Wapnick’s use of the term decision maker as that part of the mind that chooses between right-mindedness (Holy Spirit) and wrong mindedness (ego). Some argued that ACIM does not mention a decision maker and only states that the mind chooses constantly between right and wrong mindedness. I never had a problem with the decision maker, and it made sense to me and helped me to understand the Course. Later I realized that this was part of the schism between those that viewed the language of the course as metaphoric versus those that saw the language as more literal. Both approaches have worked well for students and led them to the goal of the course, peace of mind and the extension of the love that they are. Once again it is not an issue of right and wrong interpretation but more about the willingness of the student to experience peace of mind so they can extend the love that they are and be truly helpful.

It seems to make sense at this time for me that the mind is the thing I am attempting to quiet so I can experience the memory of reality. What if this memory of reality is spirit and the memory of non-reality is thought? Then the mind would choose constantly between the memory of reality and thoughts. Individual consciousness would be manifested in such a way to reflect what the mind of the individual was choosing to remember, spirit or thought (time, space and form). It would appear logical to posit that the more one chose spirit, the higher consciousness would rise and the more one chose thought the lower consciousness would fall. Spirit can be experienced in numerous ways; meditation being one of many, being in the present moment, another.

If we as a race are attempting to manifest our true self in time, space and form then it would appear that we would want to consciously choose spirit as often as possible and manifest a higher state of consciousness resulting in an experience of time, space and form that reflects higher forms of consciousness. According to Hawkins levels of consciousness these would include; courage, neutrality, willingness, acceptance, reason, love, joy, peace, bliss, illumination, self-realization and enlightenment. As more and more of us focus on raising our own consciousness while experiencing time, space and form then the universe of time, space and form will reflect this rise in consciousness. The more we focus on differences, divisiveness, right and wrong the more we will reflect the lower levels of consciousness. Again, according to Hawkins these would include; shame, guilt/hate, apathy, grief, fear, desire, anger and pride.

If all minds are joined and if in truth there is only one mind, then when one mind changes all minds change. Depending on the direction of the change so goes the experience in time, space and form. Does the individual have the control of all perceived minds? It would appear we only have control of our own perceived minds and the healing of our own mind should be our focus, not on other perceived minds. As more and more become willing to consciously raise their individual consciousness the transformation will begin to accelerate. It is said, When the student is ready the teacher will appear. History has shown that attempting to force change on others does not work in the long term. Focusing on our own awakening and being willing to help others that ask for our assistance seems to be the way to go.

What could be the ultimate outcome if all minds reached enlightenment? There is an interesting movie released in 2015 named Lucy and when Lucy reaches 100% use of the brain she disappears and when someone asks where she is, she replies as text on a cell phone I am everywhere. So maybe time, space and form disappear when the one mind reaches 1000 on the Hawkins scale (enlightenment). Is this the final step?

THE END OF TIME, SPACE AND FORM (11/15)

Will time, space and form ever disappear? Many want to believe that all of us or one of us can transcend time, space and form and transition to oneness (heaven, nirvana, etc.). Will we as a species ever relinquish, by choice, the experience of separation from our source and surrender the experience of time, space and form? This decision seems to be made by that part of our mind that chose to experience time, space and form to begin with.

-Thought of separation from oneness (Tiny mad idea or big bang)

    -Individuated spirit

    -Time, space and form

    -Multitudes of holographic spirits

-Infinite number of lives/dimensions/universes to choose from

Why did we choose to experience time, space and form to begin with? Did we all come here for the same reason? Are there levels/dimensions of time, space and form? Many would like to believe that we came here to wake up, to evolve, and to be a reflection of what our true nature is. This may be true in the big picture, but it also appears that many come to space, form and time to experience the pleasures and the pains associated with the physical plane and being in time and space. It would appear that the holographic minds made by the Mind to hide from our source are all growing at different rates. It would appear to the finite mind that the process of awakening the one Mind would take forever.

I tend to believe that is why the ego tries to convince us that all of us agreeing to wake up so we all can go home is impossible and so it attempts to convince us that we can experience oneness on an individual basis and therefore that there are individual minds/spirits in oneness. It justifies this based on the fact that we cannot understand oneness, only experience it, and therefore believing that we can experience oneness on an individual basis, although an apparent anomaly, is possible. I struggled with the idea of oneness for some time on my journey and although I make no claim to understand it today it does appear to me that there is a part of the spirit in each of us
