"This philosophy was ignored by the many pastors who endorsed Trump and accepted his statement that he is a Christian. That is worth pondering because revenge is explicitly rejected by Jesus and runs counter to the whole theme of the New Testament." – David Cay Johnston
Emphasizing the things that the mainstream press ceased covering years ago, Johnston examines the first 100 days of Trump's presidency with extraordinary depth. Providing unique insight about how our lives are and will be affected by the many actions of this man, It's Even Worse Than You Think shows us a clearer picture of America's future if we don't do anything about it.
Made for any person to read, Johnston has make a book that has a lot of political depth but at the same time is accessible for any person who is interested enough.
P.S. It's Even Worse Than You Think is an extraordinary book that shows us plenty of details we ignored about Trump's doings and how it affects us.
P.P.S. It was Albert Einstein who famously said that once you stop learning, you start dying. Reviews for Summary of It's Even Worse Than You Think
4 ratings4 reviews
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5David Cay Johnston is no stranger to Trump. He’s been an award winning journalist for years exposing the corruption within the US
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is very much a fact-based book, examining what Trump has actually done, and the practical effects, as well as the direct contrast between Trump's specific and oft-repeated campaign promises to help, for instance, students struggling under student loans or workers who aren't finding jobs because companies have moved those jobs overseas, or to help small businesses, and what his policies really are.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Johnston’s book highlights the impending dangers of letting a tyrant like a Trump take advantage of the system when he should be upholding the constitution and serving the people. The critics here have no valid argument to put forth. But to blame somebody else or some left wing conspiracy. A must read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It is an important book. It is fact-based, not ideology-driven. You will learn by reading or listening to it.
