- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Even as a guy, I find this easy to relate to, if a bit feminine with examples. That's fine - I don't think for one moment I'm the target audience. I keep this on my desk at work and read it more like a devotional than a true Christian living book. I may go weeks without looking at it, or read 5 chapters in an afternoon. The average chapter is 5 pages, so not a hard task.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5THIS IS GOLD. I have been working since college, never stopping. i would apply for a job weeks before resigning to one. I never had a "job rest." i pat myself in the back because of this. i am too proud and rest makes me feel queasy that i find comfort in overworking... this is such a good read, made me rethink how i am living my life... every time i work, i think about rest, but when that "rest" comes, i think about all the work and wait on time so i can start working again... need to breathe... need to live... thank you for this summary!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5In a sense, this book saved my life and helped me find soul again. I am so grateful the book found me when it did. As I was reading it I kept thinking I didn't want it to end. It is a book I will read over and over to keep reminding me of what is most important in life.
