This is my version of an old African myth how elephants got their long trunks. If you have ever wondered why elephants are the only animal with such a long nose (trunk), read the book and find out how the old African people told the story to their children to make sense of it. Elephants couldn't reach high branches before they had trunks and it was difficult to drink water. Their long trunks are a huge benefit, find out how it all happened.
