About this ebook

My goal for writing this book was to identify resources for business financing and to unfold some of the problems faced by business owners, followed by some solutions that help. My focus is on all types of business development. What I have seen so far is that banks must lend money since it's the only way they can generate revenue for their investors. Providing funding to businesses is their one viable option since businesses are not limited to how much money they can make or how they can expand. The question is:

"Who do they lend to?"

By this stage, most are experts at ascertaining whether they could save, grow and finally scale their business to meet the demands of the economy. Up to now, many small business owners have invested large amounts of personal assets into their businesses, even for some this could be around millions of dollars.

Most times their bets do not always pay off, which could cause devastating effects on families, partnerships, etc. The fact is most small businesses end up failing or face bankruptcy within a five-year window. An example would be the partnership at Dipping Dots parent company Fischer Enterprises. Shares were sold over a one-year period following the purchase of the business as losses started to accumulate. This is all too common in the business world.

This is the reality of entrepreneurship and one that I’ve seen too many times. If you don't have a desire to make hard decisions, face failure and errors, then the business that you are in might not the right business for you.

According to a brand-new survey by the United Parcel Service Store, business owners rank advertisements, along with finding the time to run the business as their most challenging part of their enterprise.

Other factors that are disturbing for business owners are not fully understanding the importance of individuals in your company. You get these business owners who think they are the engine and the face behind the business, when in fact they are nothing more than the coach or the conductor.

Maybe they open an enterprise because they lost their job, or because they had
