      Why I Wrote This Book

      I wrote this book to remember addresses in the Bible that are important to me. I wanted a concise topical format that took away the complexity and the time to bring together the main structure in the Bible and put it all together at my fingertips. This is not a rewrite to replace the Bible but should function as a quick reference go-to that provides answers and the motivation to dust off that big book on the nightstand. Be blessed as you read.

      Coming face to face with an angel of the Lord during a near death experience as a child also propelled me to get to know God better. In grade school a group of my friends rode our bikes and played like we were in the now old TV show SWAT. Parking our bikes, we chased the imaginary bad guys up a tall tree. After our law enforcement work was completed, we came back down to the ground. But, for some reason I looked back up towards the top of that tall tree and noticed a wire going through the very top. I suggested we go back up and the winner will be the one that touches the wire first. We scrambled at the challenge and used new found energy to outdo the other on maneuvering past each limb higher and higher. I remember reaching out with my right hand knowing I’m seconds away from victory and that’s when it happened! All things I knew of, my surroundings disappeared. Daylight instantly became blackness. I found myself in some sort of deep space with only my thoughts and fears of no way back. I looked for my body and to my shock I found none. I searched 360 degrees all around me only to know I’m floating in space with only faint light in the distance. Instinct told me to scream and that’s what I did, loudly and often! Is anybody here! Is anybody going to help me! Help me! Help me! I screamed but the response was silence. Fear consumed me for I understood nothing of what was happening to me and I dwelt on my powerlessness. But what seemed like 15 minutes, off in the distance I began to see a white light growing from a tiny size to grow larger as it became nearer to me. The shape of the light was in the form of a funnel. Up close now I could see the details of the light. Something I’ve never seen before; a white raining light so intensely white it was as if it was pure, perfect, beautiful, and just out of this world. Now face to face with this being, I knew within that this is the sole power the only power here in this place. A ruler
