About this ebook

Car, car, truck, jeep,
have you any fuel?
Yes, sir, yes, sir
three tanks full.

One for the red bus,
one for the train,
and one for the pilot
in her jumbo jet plane.

This book is bursting with cars, buses, planes, trains, trucks, diggers--and many more Things That Go. And with a text set to the tune of Baa, Baa, Black Sheep, vehicle-obsessed little ones will never want to put this book down!

board book (transportation with diverse faces and female pilot/truckdrivers)
a clear winner from a read-aloud perspective (kids love familiar tunes, and kids love cars). Expect to enjoy this one again and again at your child's request.

Unfortunately, the board book version is a bit small for sharing with my baby/toddler storytime (5.75" x 6.5") but I will probably order the 9.6" x 10.8" paperback version, which will make this PERFECT.

The only thing that may jar some readers is the imperfect rhyme at the beginning, "fuel" and "full"--it was pointed out to me that the book was originally published in England, where the original "petrol" would have rhymed much better.
