CARDIGAN BACK

Using 3.25mm needles cast on 62 (70, 78, 86, 94) sts. Starting with a knit row, continue in stocking stitch throughout as follows: Work 26 (28, 28, 34, 36) rows, finishing on a wrong side row.

Shape armholes:

Cast off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. 56 (64, 72, 80, 88) sts. Dec 1 st at each end of next 3 (3, 5, 5, 7) rows, then on following 2 (3, 2, 3, 2) alt rows. 46 (52, 58, 64, 70) sts. Continue straight until armhole measures 7 (8, 8, 9, 10) cm finishing on a wrong side row.
