Sleeve variations

Variations of the cut-on sleeve are widely available within fashion, and home sewers can find a range in most pattern catalogues. The main characteristic of the cut-on sleeve is exactly that ... it is cut on to the garment bodice, not attached as a separate piece. Due to the manner of cutting, these sleeves will always have a central seam running the length of the sleeve. The fit is characterised by a soft drape under the arm.
