No matter how much they love their gardens, not many gardeners get to turn their passion into a career. In Kyrstie Barcak’s case, her life and that of her family are centred on her vegie patch.

For her, the gardening bug initially bloomed with the birth of the first of her two sons. That made her keen to create a sustainable lifestyle for her little family and for her son to have the opportunity to eat the freshest, healthiest food possible.

“It also provided an opportunity to spend time together outdoors, talking, learning and caring for our home environment,” Kyrstie says.

Now she provides what she calls “a complete vegetable garden set-up and discovery session for preschools”. And for.
