Desiree has won an amazing number of national and international awards for her carvings, including 25 best-of-show honors, over 150 first place awards, 18 people's choice awards, and the Woodcarving Illustrated Woodcarver of the Year award. She is the author of six woodcarving books, a contributor to seven others, and a contributing editor to woodworking periodicals across the United States and Europe.
