    Editorial

    Commentary on the human condition,

Scraping an opinion from an intelligent,

    And seeking mind.

    Speaking thoughts

    Not so popular,

    Not so kind.

    Speaking against

    Issues both small

    And grand.

    Shining a light on that

    Which society seeks to hide.

    Exposing those who behind whispers

    Do seek to hide.

    Unafraid to speak,

    Opinion my own form

    Of unwavering truth.

    Homeless

    There’s room at the inn,

But I have no money to pay.

    The world is cold tonight,

And I have no place to stay.

    No I am not lazy,

    Nor too awful crazy.

    Things just really have not

    Been going my way.

    My stomach is a growling,

My head has been a spinning,

Yet not a bite can I find

    For me to eat.

No jobs available for me to find,

    Want a hand up?

    must be outta my mind.

    There’s room at the inn,

But I’ve no money to pay.

    Humor

    My humor is perverse,

    Yet it keeps me sane.

    I mean no harm,

    In the things I say.

    Mostly I hide behind

    Sarcasm, humor and wit.

    So no one will notice

That I am broken a bit..

    The tears i hide,

    Behind jokes off color.

    To disguise a pain

    I cannot share with another.

    I survived you see,

    Yet what’s left of me

    Pushes away all hands,

    No matter how kind.

    Tis easier far,
