What you will need to begin
Supplies
Yarn
Yarn can come in the different form ranging from wool, cotton to cashmere and silk. I suggest you start with inexpensive synthetic yarn and upgrade later to expensive yarn of your choice. The first time I started knitting I used a light color yarn because it helps me see the stitches more clearly, and a bright color yarn will show you when you make a mistake so that I will suggest a light color yarn for a beginner. The bulkier yarn is easier to work with and help you cope with frustration in the long run. Make the yarn you friend, feel it as part of you and see how it goes. Below are some of the basic yarn you can start with, you can get them in your local stores.
Needles
Knitting needles come in three different shapes
Single point needles which
