A high fantasy with a neurodivergent main character. When angels initiate a war, humans on Apkallu die. Deprived of human worshipping, angels resort to burning human souls to sustain themselves, when the ancient Qal of an assassinated archangel wakes up on Earth inside a human, disturbing the precarious peace. Holding the key to all three realms, the allegiance of this archangel will mean eternal dominance in a game on a global scale. Thrown into a battle of courts, tangled in a web of intrigues and palatial games, naïve Ariel is surrounded by powerful factions, chasing their own agendas. There's no one she can trust; everyone stands to gain something from her death. In the "CELESTIAL CREATURES" series you will find immersive world-building, Sumerian language and religion, re-imagined Christian mythology, new blood-thirsty creatures, plenty of sword fighting, the final grand battle and high-octane adventure throughout. Addictive book with a fantastic and vivid world-building! I would definitely continue with this series. I need to know what happens next! Well written, well planned out. Reminded me a little of Hush, Hush, so if you like things like that then you should definitely check this out. (Book blogger). Olga Gibbs has a talent for world-building. From the school yard to the heavenly architecture and natural surroundings, her settings and imagery are so vivid and cater to all five senses; it would be hard to tire from her rich descriptions. (Book blogger). It's fantastically written using highly descriptive language throughout allowing me to feel like I was transported into the story - I could almost smell and feel what the characters are experiencing. (Book blogger) From the first chapter I found this book scarily addicting. I just wanted more. I was consumed and intrigued. I didn't know where it was going or what was going to happen and was pleasantly surprised. (Book blogger).

Being one of the most formidable archangels with the power to end the world doesn't serve you well if you don't know how to use it. Thrown into a battle of courts and factions, tangled in a web of intrigues and palatial games, naïve Ariel is surrounded by powerful angels, chasing their own agendas. There's no one she can trust. Everyone stands to gain something from her death. To avoid the bloody battle that Baza brought to her door at Uras, Ariel retreats back to Apkallu (Earth) to find her sister, but the Heavenly battles and intrigues she flees follow her, as Baza's immense hold on Apkallu forces Ariel and Rafe to make uncomfortable choices. Ariel's fight for survival is far from over and it looks like it's going to be a deadly one.
- Harbinger: Celestial Creatures, #3

"I am Uriel: The Harbinger of Chaos, The Keeper of the Gates, The Begetter of Life, The Dam of The Ends, and I'm coming to take what is mine!" The clash with Baza and his angels had demonstrated to Ariel that Earth (Apkallu) is not the safe heaven she hoped it would be, and it is only a matter of time before she is hunted and dead. The only way to survive is to accept her destiny and to fight back. But upon her return to Uras, Ariel is rejected in her own domain and has to suppress the revolt against her reign. The angels refuse her and her lead, abandoning her and Uras in favour of another ruler. She knows that without an army of followers she won't stand a chance against Baza or Mik'hael, so now she needs to go into the most unexpected places to find it.
