    This book reveals the problems that we have today that are destroying the things that God has established. The picture of the family has been so distorted because of divorce, living together without marriage, homosexual marriage and lifestyle, transvestites, and many other things, that it does not resemble what God established at all. The government has been corrupt ever since it has been in place, although many want to say we have, or have had a Christian government that is not so. There is no such thing as a Christian government. Look at the horrible things the government has sanctioned down through the years. The treatment of the native Americans, by killing them and taking their land through trickery or force. Look at slavery, the most horrendous thing this country has ever done is enslaving black folks for two hundred fifty years, and after they received freedom they were still treated as inferior and not welcome by white folks. The blacks have had to struggle and fight for every little bit of freedom and civil rights they have and still we have a nation full of prejudice against the descendants of former slaves. If anybody should be treated with the utmost respect it should be them. The church in America does not resemble the early church at all, weak preachers, who fear man more than God. The church is totally segregated in American, the white church still is so prejudice in the south that they do not want to associate with any blacks. Unless the white Christians repent of their prejudice and get right with black Christians, God will never bless our churches again.

      Chapter one

      Why the foundation is important

      Foundation: A basis for which something stands, a prepared base for which the whole building stands.

      When we talk about the foundation we are talking about truth. The only place we find truth is in the sacred scriptures. The Bible must be what we use as the foundation of everything in life. We have no other foundation that will hold a building or a philosophy without it crumbling to the ground when put to the test. To use a bible illustration lets look at a passage from the sermon on the mount. Matthew 7: 24-27; 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

      25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

      26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

      27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

      What we see from these verses is that the foundation is the most important part of the building, not the building itself but the foundation. Man has built some beautiful looking buildings but without a solid foundation, and they all have collapsed. The philosophies of the world have drawn a lot of people in and deceived them into believing that they will work but in the end they all come crashing down, because you cannot build on a false foundation and keep a building from collapsing.

      If you watch any builder preparing to build, watch what he does first. He prepares the building site. He then begins working on the foundation, which takes a long time. Many times, preparing the foundation takes much longer than building the building. I have seen builders clear a site to build a building and then I watch and wait, watch and wait, and it seems like they have just quit and decided not to build at all. Then one day you see some activity begin and just in a few weeks the building is up and ready. What was happening all that time when it looked like nothing was going on, they were preparing the foundation so the building, when finished, would last.

      When I lived in South Florida, I lived through a few hurricanes, one that was a large cat. Four almost a cat. Five came across where I lived. You cannot explain what happens when a hurricane passes through unless you have experienced it for yourself. When you go out everything has changed, it looks like you have traveled to another location. Buildings are totally gone, large hotels, stores, etc. are totally missing, the only thing left is the foundation, but it is still as solid as ever. You might say but, the storm destroyed the building, yes, but it didn’t destroy the foundation, so what you can do is build back on the same foundation the same building.

      Down through history we have seen the destructive storms that have come by trying to destroy what God has raised up, but God’s people have always built back because we have a foundation that has endured the storm and is ready for rebuilding.

      What we are looking at in this book is the attack on the foundation itself. Satan knows that if he destroys Gods people he will have to do it by destroying the foundation. Now let me be quick to say that God’s word is forever settled in heaven, it can never be destroyed, not one jot, or tittle will pass away. But, when I talk about destroying the foundations, I am talking about Satan destroying them in your mind by feeding you a lie to replace the truth. This is always the way Satan works. He deceives by getting you to accept his lie instead of God’s truth. It worked for him in the garden when he fed the lie to Eve, and it still works today. Satan knows how man desires to rule his own life, so he appeals to man’s pride.

      WE are going to look at the three institutes that God has established and see how Satan has worked on destroying all three of these by feeding lies to the people and getting them to build these three institutes on a false foundation that has destroyed the institutes in the eyes of the people.

      One thing that will never change and that is truth. You can repress the truth, replace the truth with a lie, deny the truth, but you will never destroy truth, it will always have the finial say in the end. Romans 2:2; we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth.

      The word of God is like an anvil, you never have to replace it, you have to replace the hammers that beat on the anvil all the time, but the anvil is solid and indestructible, so, is the word of God, all of the attacks, of atheism, agnosticism, liberalism, and all the others have not, nor will not destroy the great anvil of the word of God. The foundation is secured, don’t accept a false foundation to build on.

      What destroys the foundation? The foundation is destroyed in your mind when you accept Satan’s lie over the truth. Satan works in the mind, by feeding you what you want to hear instead of truth. Truth is hard to swallow, we see it in the word of God, we hear it from true men of God, but the flesh does not like it, it goes against everything the flesh desires. So, Satan, comes to you with a reinterpretation of what God has said, something that sounds good to you, something that you can accept because it builds on your pride and ego. What you do then is begin to accept the lie over the truth. It does not change the truth, but in your mind, you have replaced the truth with a lie and the lie you begin building on from that point is going to lead you to destruction. If you do not get anything else from this book, please get this. Truth is always truth, and a lie is always a lie, you can never get a lie to replace the truth anywhere but your own mind and all will be judged by the truth, no matter how bad you want something to be true, it is only true if it is what God has said in his word.

      2 Corinthians 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

      We must understand that the truth, just as I have said earlier is not up for debate, it is for ever settled in heaven and nothing you do will change that. When Eve, listened to Satan, and accepted his lie, it did not change or effect the truth, the judgment happened according to truth not what she believed. It is amazing today how people are so deceived that they somehow believe that if they change churches where the pastor preaches different and waters down the truth, or just denies the true teaching of the word of God, that they will be alright going along with that and somehow God is going to change the way he will judge them in the end. Satan deceives more through the church than any other way. 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15

      13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

      14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

      15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

      It’s very clear from these verses that Satan uses the pulpit in churches to do his best work. He has his ministers in the pulpit replacing the true men of God, and people just love it, that’s why Paul wrote 2 Timothy 4:1-4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

      2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
