    The revelation of Christ reveals, brings and talks about Christ and his personal nature. It talks about how Christ has been in existence, even before the foundation of the earth as the Son of the living God. How he manifested in the person of Jesus Christ to reveal the Father to the world. It also throws light on some of the purposes for which he was sent by the Father, being, to destroy the works of the devil by the Power of the Holy Ghost, reconcile mankind to God; and how he has entrusted the same power unto the Body of Christ, the Church. The church of Jesus Christ needs to rise up, manifest and demonstrate for Christ to be seen in and through their lives as a witness by the power entrusted to them through the Holy Ghost. Revelation of Christ reveals Christ as never before and needs to be read by both Christians to strengthen their faith and to build intimacy with the Father. The writing of this book is purely by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the living Word of God. All credits go to the heavenly Father.

      That I May Know Him

      Jesus said unto him,

      Have I been so long time with you,

      And yet hast thou not known me; Phillip . . .

      John 14:9

      Knowing Christ can be likened to the two parables that Jesus shared with us in the book of Matthew concerning the kingdom of heaven which he said is like a treasure that is hid in the field, which when a man found, went to sell all that he had, and came to buy that field. This man out of joy for the hidden contents sold all what he had for the sake of that treasure. For him to sell all the things he had, reveals the preciousness of that which was hidden in that field (Matthew 13:44). Again, knowing Christ can be likened to another similar parable concerning the kingdom of heaven, which Jesus said had to do with a merchant man seeking goodly pearls; who when he had found one of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Again, we see another area where some one had to give up everything for the sake of only one thing. This one thing in both parables, being the hidden treasure and the goodly pearl, are types of Christ, who is the centre of the mystery that needs to be found and known in the kingdom of heaven. Christ is the one thing in both parables that contains everything a man will need in exchange for all things he has in the kingdom of heaven. For by him, God supplies to meet the needs of mankind. One person I can talk of in the bible who seems to bring these two parables alive is the apostle Paul, after Christ was revealed in him (Galatians 1:15-16); and when after he has come to know him, he said:

      But what things were gains to me,

      Those I counted loss for Christ, yea doubtless, I count all things but loss

      For the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord,

      For whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them

      but dung

      That I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having my own

      Righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through the faith

      of Christ,

      The righteousness which is of God by faith:

      That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and

      The fellowship of his sufferings, being conformable unto his death

      Philippians 3:8-10

      When we have come to know Christ as we should, I believe there would be many things in our personal lives that would mean nothing to us, as in the case of the apostle Paul. God reveals to us by the prophet Hosea, how his people can perish or be destroyed by the lack and rejection of knowledge; perhaps of things that we need to give up and let go, but still holding on to them.

      My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:

      Because thou hast rejected knowledge,

      I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me,

      Seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God,

      I will also forget thy children

      Hosea 4:6

      If there is any knowledge we need not lack or reject as a people of God, it is the excellence knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord; in whom we are and have believed, who also needs to be revealed in us by revelation like the apostle Paul. By a divine knowledge, we need to have a fresh revelation of Christ Jesus our Lord. This is what the body of Christ need, and the apostle prayed it on behalf of the church.

      Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus,

      And love unto all the saints; cease not to give thanks for you,

      Making mention of you in my prayers;

      That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,

      May give unto you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation

      In the knowledge of him

      Ephesians 1:15-17 (Colossians 1:10)

      But unto them which are called both Jews and Greeks,

      Christ the Power of God, and the Wisdom of God.

      1 Corinthians 1:24

      That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together

      In love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of

      Understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God,

      And of the Father, and of Christ; in whom are hid

      All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge

      Colossians 2:2-3

      By the spirit of wisdom and the spirit of revelation, we get to know and understand the mystery of Christ; or the hidden truths of Christ.

      Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand

      My knowledge in the mystery of Christ

      Which in other ages was not made known unto the

      Sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles

      And prophets by the Spirit

      Ephesians 3:5

      When the disciples of Jesus asked him why he spoke to the people in parables, the bible says that, he answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. (Matthew 13:11; Mark 4:10). The bible refers to mysteries as hidden truths, and in this case, the hidden truths of the kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of God. Here, we learn that it is not the will or the intention of God to keep us in ignorance and hide things from us, as far as he and his kingdom is concerned. It is his will for us to know, and he expects us to know.

      Having made known unto us the mystery of his will,

      According to his good pleasure, which he hath purposed

      In himself:

      That in the dispensation of the fullness of times

      He might gather together in one all things in Christ,

      Both which are in heaven, and which are on earth;

      Even in him (Christ, Colossians 1:16-19)

      Ephesians 1:9-10

      In this scripture, we see a hidden truth of God’s will being revealed and made known unto us concerning the fullness of times. The fullness of times simply means when all things have come to the mature end. In other words, God is making us know through this scripture, his plan, his objective and his purpose; how he is going to consummate all things in Christ. I believe God to be a God of plan; a God of objectivity and a God of purpose. He does not do anything without a plan. He does not do anything without objectivity; and he does not do anything without a purpose, neither does he do anything without first revealing it. Otherwise he will not be God. Being light and dwelling in light, he cannot be hidden. He wants to be known and wants to be made known, his works as well.

      Surely the Lord God will do nothing

      But he revealeth his secret unto his

      Servants the prophets

      Amos 3:7

      God has secrets, but by the spirit of wisdom and revelation, he makes known to us, what he wills and intends for us to know for his glory.

      The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him

      And he will show them his covenant

      Psalm 25:14

      The secret things belong unto the Lord our God

      But those things which are revealed

      Belong unto us and to our children forever

      That we may do all the words of this law

      Deuteronomy 29:29

      Thus it is possible to know him and understand him and his kingdom, whoever chooses to. But, I believe also that, if it is given for us to know, then we should, as a people of God, take the grace to know . . . and to know it for our good. (Job 5:27); for lack of knowledge and the rejection of knowledge, God says, causes his people to perish. (Hosea 4:6). I believe it is his desire and pleasure for us to know and I believe also that, it pleases him when we know.

      To know Christ, is to know God (John 10:30). We need to know God. The bible says that God is a Spirit, and reveals him as the Creator of the universe and all that are in them, including mankind. God in his wisdom has made it possible that all men may know him, irrespective of their geographic setting because; God is everywhere being a Spirit (John 4:24). Though invincible, his presence and power are seen and felt through out his creation. Perhaps it is the diverse interpretations due to the diverse geographical settings that seems to distort the identity of The most High God of all creations, the Omnipresent God of the universe, The Omnipotent, Almighty, All Powerful living God, whose government reigns and rules over all governments, and the affairs of men. But the good news is that God is still one and he is the true God. He is the Lord, and he changes not. His name is Jehovah. He is Elohim. He is Adonai. There is none that is like unto him and there is none that can be compared unto him; a God that shares not his glory with any man. Him alone is worthy to be praised and worshipped; of all people, race and tongue.

      God that made the world and all things therein,

      Seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth,

      Dwelleth not in temples made with hands:

      Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though

      He needs anything, seeing he giveth to all life and breath,

      And all things

      And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell

      On all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times

      Before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

      That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him,

      And find him, though he be not far from every one of us.

      For in him we live, and move, and have our being . . . .

      For we are also his offspring

      Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God,

      We ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold,

      Or silver, or stone, graving by art and man’s device

      Acts 17:24-29

      Now the Godhead which we ought not to think of as like unto gold, silver, stone or graving by art and man’s device is all in Christ. The word of God says to us:

      Beware, lest any man spoil you through philosophy

      And vain deceit after the tradition of men,

      After the rudiments of the
