      INTRODUCTION

      It was one of my mentors, Nancy Fox, who first introduced me to the phenomenon of Spirit photography. She would show me photo after photo that she had taken while doing house clearings. I was captivated by the orbs of light and other energies not visible to the naked eye, yet clearly captured by the camera. I consider myself a fairly down-to-earth person with a reasonable dose of skepticism, so it’s my nature to never embrace something just because it is true for someone else. I reserve judgment or opinion until I discover a truth for myself. In this case, God was preparing me for something, but I was completely unaware at the time.

      Around this time, I had outgrown the home office that I had been using for a number of years for energy healing sessions and medium readings. At the back of our property sat a garden shed that looked similar to our house with matching siding, roof and windows. I had always dreamed of living in an English cottage, so it seemed only natural to dismantle the garden shed and build a cottage in its place. While under construction, we referred to it as The Cottage simply as a place holder until its real name was chosen. By the time construction
