    A Christmas Tale is a childrens picture book that tells a story about a mouse that gets separated from his family at Christmas time. However, it is the season of miracles and Basils life takes a turn that is unexpected. It is a time that maybe dreams do come trueeven for a mouse named Basil. The beautiful illustrations help to carry this message of love and hope from beginning to the end. Children will become very attached to the characters in this book. They will fall in love with the visual images of Santa, his elves, and of course Basil and his family. It is a timeless tale and one that is expressed beautifully in each illustration.

    Ronald Blandon

    Ronald R. Blandon was born and raised in New Jersey. After graduating from Rutgers University he spent 25 years teaching in Middletown, NJ. He earned his Doctorate in Childhood Education in 1997. He currently works with children, K-12, at the New Jersey Marine Science Consortium, Sandy Hook, NJ. He is actively involved with Rutgers University as a member of the Alumni Reunion Committee. His first book was published in 1998, Portentous Tales. His second book, Wings of Friendship was published in 2010.
