I will never forget my first meeting with Narelle Green. It was Summer 2008 and an old friend called out of the blue to tell me I just had to meet a client of his.

She is so special, he enthused, and what she does is totally amazing. I promise you, once you meet her, you’ll want to tell the whole world about her!

I’m too busy. I protested. But he was adamant.

Well, you’ll just have to get busier won’t you because I know you need to meet this woman!

Inevitably, a few weeks later I visited Narelle at her home. It was a beautiful spot near one of Sydney’s glorious beaches and, as I arrived, the late morning sun poured in through two large windows overlooking a sapphire ocean. I noticed a row of pretty coloured bottles twinkling in the sunlight and everything seemed to be cast in a magical glow.

All I knew about Narelle then was that she was an artist, a clairvoyant and a healer, and that she had created a unique healing tool called Soul Colour which had everybody talking, including my friend. I knew very little about colour therapy at the time… but I was about to take a giant leap forward.

It turned out that Narelle had channelled a series of paintings – to me they looked like richly coloured portals in the heavens – and that these were the inspiration behind Soul Colour. The technique was simple. Just focus on a situation or attitude you’d like to change, find the colour that’s needed, and spray it. I was intrigued and keen to find out more. Using a crystal pendulum, Narelle selected Olive from the row of bottles and sprayed a little just above my head.

Change your colour, change your experience, she said.

Not only was this the beginning of my joyful awakening to the wonders of colour healing, but it was also the start of a long and happy friendship with Narelle herself, who continues to inspire and delight me in so many ways.

Since that day, I’ve regularly used Soul Colour sprays to help bring about positive changes in my life, to balance and transform my energy and to remind me that Love really is all there is. Everything else is illusion. Everything else shall pass away.

I know you will enjoy this book and devour all the information and inspiration it has to offer. And I know that once you’ve discovered Soul Colour, you’ll want to tell the whole world about it!

Preface

My purpose for writing this book is to introduce you to the unseen gifts of colour in the rays of light.

Colour has played a major role in my quest to ‘know who I really am’, and to heal my body. I grew up in a very dysfunctional family, as many of us have to varying degrees. As I look back on my childhood, I can see that everyone in my family was in a world of emotional pain and mental confusion, and no one really knew what love was, or how to express it. Also being dyslexic, education and society in the fifties and sixties offered little support or understanding.

With this programming as a child, it is no surprise that by the time I was in my early forties, I was divorced and suffering from chronic fatigue. I was too ill to take care of my three beautiful daughters, or myself. At this point in my life I asked the question, How can I get out of this mess, and live my best life?

My religious upbringing had taught me that God created the world, so I thought I would find out ‘who or what’ God was. I began studying many different religions, visiting churches and ashrams, and talking to Holy men. As a result, I discovered that the fundamental and underlying message of all mainstream religions is that God is ‘love’. A ‘love’ so powerful, that when you are touched by it you are forever changed and left in awe. Well, I can tell you that I had never in my life, or childhood, felt that type of ‘love’! I now had a driving force to experience and feel for myself this transformational ‘love’, so I went in search of it.

On my quest to find the meaning of ‘love’, I came across the answer one day at an ashram in Puttaparthi, in the south of India, when I was sitting in darshan listening to the discourse of a Holy man called, Sathya Sai Baba. This particular day, Swami (which means master) was speaking on ‘love’, and he said, Love is energy. The vibration of love permeates all of creation, even you. He went on to explain that love it not an emotion, it is much deeper than human emotion; love is a vibration that we can align our consciousness with. This was a light bulb moment, which pushed me into the study of energy, light and colour. Ultimately leading to the discovery that we have the ability to influence and change our own energy and lives.

I realized that we are living vibrational beings of light, and ‘love’ is our power. The energy of ‘love’ is so important to the quality and happiness of our lives, as its vibration automatically transforms, energizes and harmonizes any energy out of balance. This is the love that we are all looking for and long for in the deepest part of our being.

From here, I studied vibrational healing extensively through Colour Therapy, Aura Soma, Pranic Healing, Reiki, and Kinesiology and others. As part of my own healing I took up painting, and in 2002 I received visions of 21 images. As I painted each, they expanded my understanding of the deeper meaning of colour and the part colour plays in creating our lives. Through this experience, my research, and healing with colour, I had a deep desire and passion to share the transformative power of colour with others. I developed a new and innovative vibrational energy tool, called Soul Colour, which consists of 14 beautiful vibrational colour sprays conveying the science and language of colour. Soul Colour was born out of a heart felt desire and plea to God to make life easier for others, and myself.

Having worked with Soul Colour for many years now, I have seen and experienced the alchemical changes that colour can easily and accurately create in the body, emotions, mind, and soul. Colour works beyond the thinking mind enabling you to get in touch with deeper levels of your consciousness, to heal and empower yourself to create a life lived from your deepest desires.

I am so grateful to colour for assisting me to heal, awaken and empowered myself to change my life for the better. As you read this book and open yourself up to the many gifts of colour, it will guide you on how you can use colour to heal and change your life. The transformative power of colour is available to everyone.

In the New York Times on the 23 June, 1946 Albert Einstein wrote a new type of thinking is essential if mankind is to survive and move to higher levels. Often in evolutionary processes a species must adapt to new conditions in order to survive… . . .

These wise and visionary words by Einstein were written many years ago heralding a time for mankind to change his thinking in order to survive.
