Transforming Minds - Larry D. Williams

The Battle Is For Your Future

And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.(Genesis 37:5) You love God. You believe that God will do everything that He promised you, yet hell is hitting you at every corner and you just simply do not understand what is going on.

You do not understand the battles, tests, and trials that you are going through. You do not understand the attack you are under. If there is anything Satan desires to do today, it is to keep you from entering into your destiny. He wants to keep you from your future!

The reason you are in the battle you are in, the reason you are under the attack you are under, has nothing to do with your present. It is about what you are getting ready to have. It is about where you are getting ready to go and who you are getting ready to become. The battle is for your future!

Satan does not care if you live in your past. It is not even your present that is Satan’s greatest fear; it is your future. He does not want you to have what God said you would have, do what God said you would do, go where God said you would go and become who God said you would become. He wants to keep you from your destiny. He wants to stop you from your future. The trials, the tests, the afflictions and even the setbacks are nothing more than an attack from the enemy to keep you from possessing what God has promised you.

Let’s face the truth; Satan has launched an all out attack against God’s people. The attack that many people are under is the greatest attack they have ever experienced, but the good news is regardless of how severe the attack is—it will not work! Whatever weapon the enemy may have formed against you, it will not prosper. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17)

In fact, what the enemy thought would destroy you is going to make you better. What the enemy meant for evil against you will turn to your good. Regardless of what you are going through if you stay faithful, God will turn it around and good will come out of what looks bad. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

The attack against you, your finances, ministry, and even your family will not prosper and not only will it not prosper; in the end it will backfire! The devil’s plan is going to backfire, and what the devil thought would destroy you is only going to make you stronger. What the devil thought would make you lose faith is only going to make you have faith. In fact, what the devil thought would cause you to curse God is going to cause you to praise God.

You will not remain where you are. Hell does not have the power to hold you from your destiny. Satan is not in control of your future. The power of hell is going to be broken and you will be freed from the attack you are under. You will fulfill your destiny. What you are going through is only an attack from hell trying to keep you from going forward.

The people who are not going through anything are the people that are not going anywhere. Have you ever thought I do not know why Sister So and So is not going through anything? The reason she is not going through anything is because she is not going anywhere. Do not get upset that others seem to be trouble, trial and test free while you are in the battle of your life. Everybody is not going to go where you are going. That is why you are going through things that others are not going through. What the devil thought would be a stumbling block is going to become a stepping stone. Your haters are going to become elevators who will lift you to a higher place of blessings and glory. The people who are not going through anything are the people who are not going anywhere.

Keep pressing forward! Keep believing God and watch God do a new thing in your life. You might be in a pit now, but you will be elevated to the Palace. You might be in prison now, but this is just a temporary place until you are elevated to the Palace.

    Healing the Sick

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons: freely you have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:8) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (Mark 16:17) The last words of Jesus to his disciples should have a priority among Christians. We focus on everything but what he told us to do.

What did he tell us to do? We are called to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out demons. The only way that we can change the world is to do what the word said do. (Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons.) You do not have to be a preacher to heal the sick. All you have to be is a believer. You must be a believer and make sure that you are saved. In Mark 16:17, He said And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17) And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; Then Peter said, ‘Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.’ (Acts 3:2 & 6) We know from Acts 4:22 that this man had been sick for 40 years.

It does not matter how long you have been sick – God has got a miracle for you today! Who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, Look at us. Acts 3:3-4 If we’re going to be the glorious, powerful church Jesus has called us to be – we need to have eyes to see the hurting and broken around us! (Acts 3:2-4 &6) "Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But
