Prologue:

The Authority and order of God

The God we worship and serve; He is the God of order and He set authority in place. God has set forth different authority for His people: God firstly, has set forth authority in a local church with a sound minister. Secondly; he has set and ordained governments with head of States. Thirdly; God has established authority in a family and above all God has decree his kingdom from heaven on earth. God rules and reigns in the affairs of men and women. God is worth of adoration not iconic public figures. God is worth to be worshipped and served by all people.

The purpose of authority is not to harm but to help you. God set forth authority to serve and minister to you. Authority stands for order and service not to hinder you. Authority is not a bad thing. Authority is a good thing! If people will live in order and respect God’s set man and the local church, life success is guaranteed. The responsibility of the people is not to be rebellious, disrespectful and mistreat authority but to do their part and God will deal with leadership whether right or wrong. God is the one who set people in authority or remove them.

In the Local Church you will learn that God sets and works through authority and order. God hardly skip his own authority and order. You will learn that from the days of Adam, the times of Christ and during the Antioch church, God set authority and worked with it. And the gospel and work of God when is received in a country, city or community it is because there is a good leadership. If the gospel and the work of God is rejected somewhere it is because of ungodly government authority, or bad law or hostile religious system. God commands people to be good Christians and citizens; and to love and pray for their leaders set in office and authority.

Introduction:

The God of purpose

God is the God of purpose. God saves people according to his purpose. God does all things according to his purpose and grace. God sent Jesus Christ on earth with a purpose. God saved you with a purpose. God gives people the Holy Spirit with a purpose. God speaks his word to you with a purpose. God answer prayer with a purpose. God puts people in a local church with sound minister for a purpose. And that purpose is to fulfil his goodness for you.

God is not respecter of persons but he respects his purpose. Whatever God has done to others he can do for you. God speaks and works through a purpose. When the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to the apostle Paul on the road of Damascus he said he has appeared to him with a purpose. And that purpose was to make him a minister and a witness of what he saw and heard. God starts all things with a purpose. If God is going to do anything in your life it will be by His purpose. The Scripture also says all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. God has called you according to his purpose. Things will work out for good because you know the purpose of God for you.

Another place Paul the apostle told his son Timothy; you have known my manner of life and purpose. Paul served God and minister to people by God’s purpose. The apostle Paul spoke the gospel and did the work of God by divine purpose. Paul the apostle wanted his son Timothy to serve God and minister to people with purpose. Not to be a respecter with persons and have partiality but carry the gospel and the work of Good with divine purpose. Never build your life on personality but on the purpose of God. The same is with ministry and church, never build your ministry and church on personality but build on the purpose of God.

The reason why the Lord Jesus Christ came on earth is to show us the kingdom of God, purpose and grace. The Lord Jesus Christ preached the message of the kingdom, served God with purpose and died on the cross to save by grace. The kingdom of God, purpose and grace are important to you. What is the kingdom of God? It is doing things in God’s way. The Kingdom of God is God’s rule upon your life. What is the purpose? The purpose of God is His desires, destiny and will for you. What is grace? Grace is favour. God wants to be in charge of your life (his kingdom), God wants to show you his goodness for you and fulfil it (his purpose) and God give you all favour you need in life (his grace).

As you read this book Local Church, ask the Holy Spirit to show you God’s purpose for you and fulfil it. Know this; you have a purpose in life from God. Local Church is a book for you. The Holy Spirit has linked your destiny with the church you belong. If your destiny is going to be fulfilled it will depend on a local church and sound minister you have not only the word of God and prayer. Read and obtain life success.

Chapter 1

The Christian Church:

The church model

And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Acts 11:26

The first Christian church was in Antioch. This Antioch Christian church had the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ who where changed and were like Christ. The disciples were taught the word of God and had Christ-likeness. These disciples of Antioch were saved and had power of the Holy Spirit. To be a Christian simply means you are saved and have received the Holy Spirit. A Christian knows the anointing of the Holy Spirit and authority of the word of God. It also means the Holy Spirit have transformed your life by the word of God. The word of God has great impact in your life. Do you want transformation in your life? Do you want a new spiritual level? Then you need the impact of the word of God and the impartation of the Holy Spirit. If Christianity is going to be powerful and effective it needs the word of God and the Holy Spirit. Barnabas and Paul made the difference in the lives of these disciples by the word of God and the Holy Spirit. Anywhere you see the word Christian it is about the power of the Holy Spirit. Who is a Christian?
