About this ebook

How did I get here?

When led to the valley by God what is one to learn? What is one to see? How is one to pray? How is one to praise; and how long is one to be there?

Its not about us, but its all about Him. God is teaching and throughout our lives in various ways we are constantly learning who He is and why we were truly called into existence. For some the lesson is an easy one. For some the lesson is hard and long. For me-the seeing, the learning, the reality of Him being a true and living God was found in the valley-some 21 years in the valley. What about you?

Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

A word of thanks to my friends who know they hold a special status. To those who have laughed with me, cried with me, prayed and prayed and prayed with me. To those who have long been sounding boards for my poetry, dreams, and visions. To those who have nudged, scolded, and warned me into doing what God so lovingly called me to do. To those who have stayed supportive when I wanted to quit. To those still here. I am grateful.

Special appreciation also belongs to those who obediently allowed God to use them (whether they realized it or not) to bring the words in this book to life in me. Thank you for being the chisel in His hands; you helped change me.

And to Mika. Here’s your coffee table book. I love you!

    INTRODUCTION

C hange. Isn’t that what life and living are all about? When I talk about changes, I don’t refer just to those we see when looking in the mirror and noting more wrinkles on our faces and bags under our eyes. I’m talking about the mental and spiritual changes that are only brought about through experiencing Jesus
