After graduating from College and marrying the following year I discovered a Holiness Church who Baptized in the name of Jesus(Acts 2:38). The key component of that Baptism stressed the NAME and this book was born 36 years ago. Most of my Adult life was spent in the career of a Car Salesman. This book describes how through the Gift used in this book my career was discovered. After the above Baptism (1977) I was given a new name. I was told that one day I would know when to use it. With the completion of this Book it is time to use it. I am Jolomark Retunah.

Dedication
I dedicate this book to my deceased oldest
brother George K. Martin, who like to be
called by his siblings as GKM. This
dedication is given because he never knew
his ultimate destiny here on earth. I hope that
the message in this book show others how to
find their place in this World.
This book is also dedicated to My mother
who never back down from a challenge that
caused her to be the carrier of the title of
this book… The half have never been told
Acknowledgments
I like to thank my brother Granger R. Martin, Sr. for
his brotherly support, in that he applies the principles
in this book in every aspect of his life. He told me
that giving himself a strong religious title helps him
to be a more dedicated man of God.
I also thank my cousin Minister Donald Graham who by
discussing Bible truths was inspirational supportive for
the message of this book… causing both of us to have a
closer walk with God.
Last, but not the least in any capacity I thank my
twin sister Ruby Martin Simmons whom God send
alone to help me through life until I was ready to be
the recipient of the message in this book.
I thank all the people whom had me to interpret their
name with their belief in my gift that inspired the
completion of this book.
FOREWORD
The message you are about to embark upon deals with many different subjects matters. All these different subjects deal with words, names, and the hidden meaning interwoven in the word. The explanation of how I drew my conclusion of this message can become long and drawn out if you are not reading this book at one setting. I suggest going to the table of contents and pick a topic; there are more than one hundred topics in this book . . . something for everyone. If the interpretation of your chosen subject matter seems just a little TOO far fetched, then go back and start at the beginning.
Admittedly, after proofreading this book, some of the interpretations even boggle my mind. When I go back and try to change these interpretations to be a little more logical, I am met with an unusual resistance from a divine source that can keep me restless for several days.
As I think back on how I got the message in this book, I realize a lot of time, prayer, fasting, dedication, and loneliness went in to getting me to consistently think in this way. Due to the limited capacity to earn that was placed on me at birth, a total mind redo was necessary for me to become the recipient for such a message that this book has to offer. More details are just a few pages away.
My dear brother, who agreed to help edit this work with me, has said, some times the things that come out your mouth are so far in left field I think you have lost your mind and then I get a revelation or read something that confirms what you have said.
A deceased brother of mine said almost the exact same words. So you will understand if I told you, one of my greatest fears over the years was being signed into a mental institution by a sibling. Ironically, to supplement my income while I prepared this message; I worked at a mental institution.
So don’t question my sanity too quickly before you finish reading the whole book. I promise you, in the end, the message will speak for itself. I have written this message in chronological order from Genesis of the Bible to our present day. This was done to create a Time Line between the Bible and American History to establish our next moves as a nation.
PREFACE
One objective of The Half Have Never Been Told
is to answer from a different angle the age-old question What’s in a Name?
I will use a different technique in answering this question. This book will show what actually happens each time you speak, think or write a name. In addition, I will show that a word prior to becoming a name has, within it, the makeup of smaller words acting as a mini-machine causing one to act according to the smaller words, directions, or guidance without the knowledge of this by the bearer of the word/name.
Also, I will attempt to show how important it is in selecting a good name for a child. I will show how the calling of a sibling’s name or the thinking of a parent’s name influences the destiny of a child. From this book I will show how one family member can actually carry the responsibility of all the names in a large family. I hope to show how your destiny has been interwoven within your name through a process I call interpretation
. I will show (from names that have already achieved greatness) how the letters in the name guided that individual to their success and brought America where it is today.
I will show how various historical events in America where prophesied in the Bible. Also, how a name from the Bible when given to a person in modern times has a similar Biblical effect. The name interpretation process of this book will start with Biblical names. One of the most important things this book will show is that the Bible has been a great influence on how America has been shaped. (It really does not matter whether you believe in a Deity or not.)
The main reason for the book is to show that there was a plan for America. For every major change that came in America a name was exalted to help carry out the change. Name changing by various historical and public figures will be illustrated. In addition, it explains why some people go through a name change in modern day… the benefit and the danger of this process. Using the Bible as a reference, this book will show what motivates a name change.
Finally, we will show how America got off track with our first President, got back on… back off again… what it takes for us to stay on track. I will conclude with America’s destiny. In essence, what I am doing in this book, is allowing you to grow with me as my interpretation skills develop. I start from single letters and single words then grow into a full-scale interpreter. This means interpreting scriptures from the Bible that pertain directly to the United States of America that have never before been interpreted in the way that this book will illustrate. I hope that one day the interpretation process in this book will solve difficult crimes and advance man in unheard of technology.
PART I
INTRODUCTION
I have gone through a great deal of pain in my life that finally led me to the conclusion that I have a purpose in this nation and world. Like everyone else who feels they are here for a purpose and achieved a purpose; I too had my crosses to bear. My realization that I was here for a purpose did not start to manifest itself until my sophomore year in college.
In 1972 (the fall of my sophomore year at North Carolina Central University) I was diagnosed with a condition known as poly-arthritis. This condition required that I remain in my bed until I was able to walk and return to school. Lying in that bed allowed me to do a lot of thinking and helped me realize things happen for a reason. Unknowingly, this sickness started me on the path of seeking the reality of a Supreme Being.
The arthritic condition I had carried with it a possibility of becoming a cripple, thanking God,
I escaped that terrible fate. In order to graduate on schedule from a four years college, I went to summer school and took an extra heavy load of classes during my senior year at college.
FIRST RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE
My first Religious
experience or Realization of a Divine purpose
was in 1974. It was the fall of my senior year in college. As mentioned above, I was carrying an unusually heavy load of classes.
In that year, putting pressure on myself to graduate on time, I was doing everything I could. I worked part-time to keep my apartment off campus and it was on this job that I met a man who had begun studying the Bible. Having been brought up to attend church by my parents, I did so every Sunday, although I did not believe in God. This man encouraged me to give God a real chance and the feeling that I had nothing to lose, I took his advice.
It is hard to explain what happened. Nevertheless, what did happen is that, for the first time in my life (after attending school for sixteen years) I was able to read a book in its entirety and gained a sudden zeal for learning that I had never had before. I wrote a thesis which I was able to use for three classes; receiving two A’s and a B+’s and graduated on time. I had a new belief in a Supreme Being!
My brother, who had graduated from the same college four years earlier helped me type up my thesis. He called me after hearing the news of my grades and said, I believe it is meant for you to write a book.
He said that nearly 37 years ago. The writing of this thesis opened up another world within me. Because I thought a relationship with God meant everything was supposed to go my way, I got frustrated and stopped my Religious
practice for a while.
SECOND RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE
During this break from God I got married. I married a preacher’s daughter, PK
. My new wife and I (both members of Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Denomination) decided to break family tradition on both sides of the families. We started attending a Pentecostal Holiness Church. It was here in this holiness church that I wanted to reconnect with God from my previous experience in 1974.
Because I found the Real
God back in 1974, coming back would not be easy. After turning my back on the True and Living God
an exorcism had to be performed on me. This exorcism kept this holiness church at bay with an Evil force for an entire month. But in the end, the holiness church prevailed. When I came out of this experience, I realized I had been equipped with a Gift
from God.
The holiness church that performed this Miraculous Exorcism
was founded upon baptism according to Acts 2:38 that all power was in the "NAME of Jesus. After reading the Acts of the Apostles in the New Testament and the power in Jesus’ name, God opened my understanding to the knowledge that every person’s name have a
Power and Purpose" in it. God directed my attention to this scripture; Psalms 82:6 I have said, ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. This led me to believe that all names have power that influence our behavior and choices that we make.
From this, I began to look at Biblical history and American history in a new light. I began having names of historical or public figures come to me at work. With my new Gift
, I would go home excited, break it down, and see what message I was getting from God about this name.
This book was born after doing this for several years. My brother’s prophesy sixteen years earlier had become a reality. When I interpreted
a historical figure’s name and saw how it shaped their course of action, making them an historical figure, I realized the reason why God had inspired me to use the title The Half Have Never Been Told.
Because… truly… after reading this book I hope that you will come away with the belief That the HALF… Truly… HAVE… never been told.
This is my second attempt to try to get this message out. My first attempt was in 1990. The Half That’s Never Been Told
was self-published with one hundred copies still in circulation and included two hundred seventy-five (275) pages (including a complete glossary of terms using my interpretation Gift
). This was thirteen years after I had experienced my second full-blown Religious
experience or paranormal supernatural phenomena.
INTERPRETATION PROCESS
Because an Interpretation process will be used to explain my findings, you, the reader, need to know what is meant by Interpretation from the author’s point of view.
We use interpretation when the words spoken are not clear to you. This book will show, through this interpretation process, that there is a lot more happening than the sound of a group of different letters together when people are speaking. Interpretation as demonstrated in this work brings out the hidden meaning of one’s name. This makes your name more than just a tool of distinction.
What makes this book so unique is… the process that is used the Bible calls interpretation
. It is a process similar to that of which Daniel, in the Bible, used when he interpreted the famous Handwriting on the Wall
.
The moment in Bible history when the Handwriting on the Wall
event happened; it changed many lives. This event was so powerful it was passed down through history as a metaphor. We use it today in everyday life when a person has gained clarity of an important moment. To me, the total understanding of how Daniel drew his conclusion of the Handwriting on the Wall
was proof that I had acquired a gift of the unusual writing (Divine Handwriting) at that time.
After I fasted for twenty-one days (the longest recorded time Daniel fasted), I was able to understand how Daniel drew the conclusion that his interpretation was accurate. In a sense, a man who lived thousands of years prior to me, actually became my mentor as I followed his Spiritual discipline techniques.
Therefore, I will write the Handwriting on the Wall
from a King James Version Bible of the English Language and will show how Daniel came up with his message. At the same time I will justify my qualification for bringing the message that you are about to embark upon in this book. And now I will interpret THE HANDWRITING ON THE WALL
in our modern time.
THE HANDWRITING ON THE WALL
Daniel 5:25 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE TEKEL, UPHARSIN, Daniel 5:26 (Daniel is Speaking) this is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. Daniel 5:27 TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. Daniel 5:28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
How do we know that this is the correct interpretation? Let me explain: The word MENE
actually pronounced as Many
. If you will pick up any dictionary with a Thesaurus and look up the word, Many
you will find right beside it in parenthesis the pronunciation mene
. This is where the word number
came about because MENE
(many) means large number. When Daniel said God had numbered
your kingdom this meant more than one. That is why MENE
was written twice (Mene, Mene) in the above scripture from the Handwriting on the wall
.
TEKEL interprets as balance. This interpretation is all symbolic. The T
is designed with a vertical line topped off with a horizontal line dead center resembling a scale. When you look at the eke
it is center with the constant k
with two like vowels (e) on each side representing balance or equal. In addition, the way the K
is made with a vertical line joined at mid-point by a < sign, (the closest I can get) this is another form of balance and in mathematics, this symbol means less than.
When you view the makeup of K
symbolically, the less than symbol (<) pointing to the left is where Daniels Spiritual eye picks up a lacking. This is where the part found wanting
from the Tekel
interpretation comes from. (Could this be where the less than (<) and greater than (>) symbols originated)? Daniel concludes, that the King was Weighed (T) in a Balance (eke) and found wanting
l<(less than)=
K".
(PERES); as Daniel looked at all that were written he pulled these five symbols out: P-E-R-E-S
Daniel saw two words from this group of symbols. Daniel saw PER as prefix for Persian
and the ES as the suffix symbol for Medes
. Being familiar with his geographical surroundings; Daniel knew this was talking about the Kingdom being divided (PER ES) between two other countries Medes and Persians.
The final part UPHARSIN tells The why
of the above interpretation, which we divide into three parts; UP HAR SIN
. The UP
is letting Daniel know that the King is going to die; as in his time is UP
. The HAR
are prefix letters for HARD
and the word SIN
is obvious. Daniel did not want to tell the King that he was getting ready to die (UP
) because of his sinful lifestyle (HARD SIN
) so he substituted the word PERES and, instead, told King Belshazzar who would get his Kingdom. Nevertheless, the King died later that night according to the (Daniel 5:30).
The interpretation process used in this book will follow the same process as Daniel used here.
FIRST STEP . . . SALVATION
The first step in using this interpretation process is to go through and pick out whole words or smaller words (as was done with "UPHARSIN/UP-HAR-SIN above) that are within the word being interpreted.
One of the big observations that one will gather from this interpretation process is that every WORD or NAME in the English Language can be a Handwriting on the Wall
. The interpretation process used in this book reveals a totally different meaning than what a dictionary would reveal about a word and, although we get a different meaning of the word… in the end, the interpretation compliments the definition found in a dictionary.
Nevertheless, to explain the difference between definitions and interpretation in this book; definition
tells the what
of a word; whereas interpretation
tells the how
of a word.
The best course of action to demonstrate how the interpretation process works is to start with the first word that appeared after my religious
experience I spoke of in the preface.
After coming out of my religious
experience mentioned above, the first word that appeared to me was the word salvation
. This word did not appear as one complete word as it is spelled here; it appeared as sal v ation
, in broken sections. Then, as I observed how it was appearing to me, each section of the word seem to start forming whole words from the broken sections, as sal(e), v(ictory), and a(c)tion. I repeated this strange occurrence aloud sale victory action
.
That is not the definition of salvation (Sale victory action). The dictionary meaning of salvation is
the process of being preserved from impending evil."
Nevertheless, I pondered this strange phrase created from the word salvation
for a few weeks while I worked a minimal paying job. One day after work a man came to my apartment selling photograph albums. This man offered me a sales job. He told me he would pay me $50 for each album I sold. Shortly after I began working, the phrase came back to me one night Sale victory action
, but this time I repeated it by saying Sale the Victory Action
. Oh my God!
God sent the word Salvation
to tell me the career I would have for the next 30 years (not knowing this for many years later) and how to perform it. Let me explain.
The first three letters of Salvation
(Sal) . . . created the prefix letters for the word Sale
describing the job as in Salesman
and the second and third broken section (v ation) was telling me How
to do my job with the two words created from v ation
which was Victory Action
. To be sure of my understanding of what Victory
meant I consulted my dictionary. The dictionary talks about Victory
being supreme, but what stood out most was the phrase overcoming some major conquest
. The word action
that was created from ation
was telling me to demonstrate (act) the product being sold. This word told me that in order to be a salesman
you have to overcome the customer objection by demonstrating your product. A career in sales started in the fall of 1977 and lasted until the fall of 2007, completing the cycle of one generation.
God used this word salvation
to direct me to a career in selling. Just as the dictionary definition pointed out, that salvation
meant preserve from evil
. The definition complimented the interpretation. Because, by having a career in selling it did preserve my family from the evil of poverty or doing without. This illustrated that interpretation gave the how
(career in selling) and the definition gave the what
(preserve from evil).
Just to show that I got the right interpretation of salvation
I have set aside a portion of this book to demonstrate how I was led by a supernatural force
using my name and beat the odds in a sales contest. I hope in this section (on how I broke my name down and beat the odds) that you too will learn how to interpret your name and achieve your desired goals.
ATONEMENT
Another appropriate word to demonstrate this process of interpretation would be atonement
. Because the whole Bible centers on man being atoned back to God by Jesus; I thought that this word would be perfect to demonstrate interpretation
vs. definition
.
The best dictionary definition of atonement
is the reconciliation between God and man effected by Christ’s life, passion, and death.
Using the interpretation process, we divide the word atonement
into syllables, isolating the whole words, which looks like this; at one men t
. This is a very popular word breakdown in churches. Many ministers do this in describing what Jesus did when he died on the cross for mankind. Ministers do not know, that they are actually doing a partial interpretation.
But really… the interpretation process does not fully kick in until you interpret the left over t
at the end of the word atonemen t
. That t
is actually the symbol of the cross. If one would create the letter t
free handed without the use of a machine as we are doing here, but actually draw the t
; it looks like a cross. So the full message that the word atonement
reveals is: Through Jesus Men are at one with God by the Cross (t)
. In this example of picking out whole words to begin the interpretation process you actually come across the symbol that created the word atonement
from the outset… the Cross
.
By observing the definition
versus interpretation
using atonement
you can see the what
of this word in definition with the use of reconciliation
. By using the interpretation process you can see the how
of atonement
with the last t
as in the symbol of the Cross
. Without interpreting the last t
of atonement as the Cross
you could not use reconciliation
in the above definition and you will not have a balance between definition
and interpretation
. The last t
(interpretation… Cross) of atonement is what reconcile
(definition) man back to God.
Many ministers, as mention above, have broken down atonement/at one men t
to give a simple definition to their congregation or audience. But you never see those ministers interpret the last (t)
on atonement
. That is when interpretation
comes in.
The words at one men t
without understanding the last t
in atonement
being a symbol is, the difference between a word search
and being able to interpret a message with clarity. This is what separated Daniel from the other soothsayers and magician of his day. Full scale interpretation is knowing when you see a letter as a word vs seeing it as a symbol. The glossary in the back does a more in depth job of this.
TOGETHER
If I use a common everyday word that does not suggest obvious spirituality, one will also come up with an interpretation that is different from the dictionary meaning. Let’s take one of my favorites… the word together
.
The dictionary meaning of together
is in the same place or at the same spot; with each other; in company.
By interpretation, this word is composed of three individual words: to get her. Not only are these three complete words; they are also a phrase with the three whole words in chronological order, To get her
.
In a word or name that uses all the letters in forming complete words you look for the message the word/name is trying to tell you. In this word, with the forming of smaller words, it appears to be a message to a male… to get her
. He has to figure out a way to be together
with his maiden of choice. It is suggesting to the male to get her
alone and you will be together
. (The dictionary definition would help at this time).
The male has to keep coming up with statements of getting together
, like go to a movie, to a party, go out… anything that suggests together
, and eventually he will be able to get her
. This also works for the female as well because in the word together
there are three complete words with one letter left over; like this: to-get-he-r. The word together
produce the phrase to get he r
.
Now the interpretation process takes on almost a mystical type of process. When you look at the above word with the left over r
, the dominate word that comes to mind for the letter r
is right
.
Note: This left over r
represents a word; the same as the left over t
in atonement represents a symbol… the Cross.
The way one comes up with the correct word to a single letter is by what the previous whole words are saying. (This is when this process becomes a Gift
). To a female, she wants to get together
with the right
he/man
.
For many words, using the interpretation process can take on just as many meanings as a definition
of a word would give.
Now let’s look at the word together
in another way. Dissect the word as such, to-get-ther
. Here the word is giving a total different interpretation. By using the t
to perform two duties and adding an e
at the end… to ther
, this creates the word there
.
With the added e
this interpretation now forms the phrase to get there
. You have changed the word together
from a social event to a scientific or mathematical situation.
This together
is talking about joining the beginning
of a journey to the end
of that journey.
Let’s go back to the above definition of together
. The first phrase of the definition of together
means in the same place.
This compliments its interpretation of to get there
. There
. . . in interpretation, compliments place
in definition. Because to get her
you still have to get there
as interpreted. The full definition above says at the same time and in the same place with company.
What we have done with the word together
in interpretation is discover the start of a relationship between a man and woman. This is some of the excitement interpretation can bring, as well as mystery, which is even more fascinating.
In the above demonstration of together
, what
has become where
in definition with time and place
. The how
on the other hand of the interpretation is to get her
and to get there
.
This means that the interpretation process of one word can have two or more meanings without being a synonym. It illustrates how the interpretation process gives more than one interpretation, causing a name formed from a word to give more than one direction to pursue. You can also see an amazing change in how you look at a word after interpretation versus its original spelling.
For example, who would have thought that one could come up with a Sales
career from Salvation
and yet ministers do it every Sunday when they are trying to win Souls for Christ
. . . which they are actually selling. This just shows that by focusing on a word/purpose repetitiously, as a minister does on Salvation
, the word will eventually dictate how
to achieve the desired goal. Just as a male or female want to be with a certain romantic partner, by constantly thinking of together
the male will get her
and the female gets (he) Mr. Right
.
These are just a few examples out of thousands of words I have interpreted over the years. There are other rules that go with this interpreting process that are the key in obtaining the spiritual messages on one’s name or any word in question.
NEXT STEPS
After you isolate whole words; you break down the name/word you have into syllables. By viewing the whole small words, the partial words, which are mostly suffixes and prefixes, will mystically create other whole words. In many names/words there are no whole words, but once broken down into syllables, words will magically form.
Sometime there are no small words to start the interpretation process. Let’s take the word rich
for example. Break it down like this: ri-ch
. There are no small whole words; so the Gift
kicks in. The first word that comes to mind with ri
is right
. With the ch
the first word that comes to mind is choice
and all the other words that go with choice
like chose, choose, chosen, etc. The message here is; people that are rich
make the right choices
. Does that make sense? This is mentioned earlier when I said that definition
tells the what
but interpretation
tells the how
.
Dictionaries do a good job in describing who is rich
but my interpretation process tells how
and even why
one has the title rich
on their mortal resume’
. So now you know how to be Rich
. Just create a focus phrase like this: I am making Right Choices for me all the time
. The total understanding of each word in this statement will become clearer when you get to my story of how I beat the odds in a car sales contest with my birth name.
In these examples of trying to give understanding to the interpretation process we are using common familiar words. However, in this book, we are using historical and famous names to conclude what plan God had for this nation.
What is being shown here is that words not only distinguish things in the universe and have a dictionary meaning, but through the interpretation process, you discover that each word is actually providing what I call a hidden Spiritual function
. This Spiritual function
is telling you how this word came about to make the dictionary definition possible.
CONTRACTIONS
Another process involved in interpretation is the use of contractions. This is where a group of letters that don’t seem to be either a suffix or prefix but missing letters between other letters… can create a word.
Because the Bible
is going to be a major reference tool in this book, we can use it to illustrate how contractions are found hidden within words/names. Viewing the word Bi-ble as such, the first word that comes to mind with
Bi is
Big. When viewing
ble as such, it is the contraction for the word
belief. Notice how the
b is the first letter,
l is the center letter and the
e gives the end sound. So now you have picked up a new interpretation from Bible. People that have
Big Beliefs" are usually guided to God or the church. Your desire to do something GREAT has landed you in Church and you are completely unaware of this. Sometimes people are just given a Biblical name
and it alone does all the work, as we will demonstrate later.
I hope the above interpretation of Bible
is better for you while you are on earth than the acronym that is going around about B.I.B.L.E (Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth). By using all of the letters in Bible
as a complete thought, this is the final duty of the Bible (which will be explained later). My interpretation… is for you while you are on Earth.
VOWEL INTERCHANGING
With that being said above, I will reveal another important tool used in the interpretation process. This tool is the ability to interchange vowels that help unravel a word mystery. Since I use mystery
it is a perfect word to show. By replacing one vowel with another vowel it will give the word a more familiar meaning to the reader, and by so doing, help solve the riddle of the word.
Dissect my-stery
as such. Then exchange the e
in stery
with an o
and you get the word story
. So now instead of my-stery
from mystery
you have my story
. We all have heard phrases like it is a mystery
or he/she is a mystery. So
my story from the word
my-stery goes along with another word with
story" in it. This word is History.
The word History
is needed to show who is being referred to by the my
in mystery. Dissecting his-story
by sound like this creates the phrase his story
. When something or a person is a mystery
(my story) the my
is like the his
in history
. It is referring to God or a Deity. The overall meaning of mystery
is to mean a secret
which also belongs to God. Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the
