About this ebook

One Sunday afternoon after attending worship service at my church, His Kingdom Ministries in Durham, North Carolina, I sat alone in my room and began to talk with God. I wanted to know why a woman like me, who clearly LOVES the LORD with all my heart and soul, was battling so many storms back to back. At that very moment, while I was seeking Gods face, He reminded me that serving Him, honoring Him, and loving Him would NOT be an easy task and that the Devil WOULD try to destroy me every chance that he could. He also reminded me of all the things that He went through when He was here on earth. He told me that if I truly loved Him and believed in Him, that I would endure this pain with my head held high so that He could fulfill His destiny for my life and receive all the glory... Yes, I became angry and often rebellious to Gods word and plan for my life, but when it was all said and done, I knew where my help cometh from. I knew that without God, Id be totally lost and I just couldnt afford to be out of Gods will or His grace.

Decembre Pierce

Releasing the Bitterness is a 6-step book that will assist an individual to move from bitterness to wholeness. God desires for all His children to live and operate in love and peace and to have a sound mind. As Ms. Pierce stated in the Forward at the beginning of the book... At that very moment, while I was seeking God’s face, He reminded me that serving Him, honoring Him, and loving Him would NOT be an easy task and that the Devil WOULD try to destroy me every chance that he could. He also reminded me of all the things that He went through when He was here on earth. He told me that if I truly loved Him and believed in Him, that I would endure this pain with my head held high so that He could fulfill His destiny for my life and receive all the glory... Yes, I became angry and often rebellious to God’s word and plan for my life, but when it was all said and done, I knew where my help cometh from. I knew that without God, I’d be totally lost and I just couldn’t afford to be out of God’s will or His grace. Ms. Decembre Pierce is currently a resident of Durham County, a published author, a mother of three children, the Founder and Executive Director of the LOVE Center Youth Mentoring Center and a graduate student of North Carolina Central University. Ms. Pierce was born and raised in a Christian home and became an Ordained Minister in February 2010. Although she always loved the Lord, her relationship with God became more personal and intimate when she joined His Kingdom Ministries in Durham, North Carolina, under the leadership of Apostle Janice Thomas and Bishop Randy Thomas. Ms. Pierce daily prayer is that people will allow God to heal and release them of any and all bitterness so that they may help others who are in bondage.
