Prophet: A View of the Suffering
()
About this ebook
Have you ever been in a position where you have wanted to serve God and you have received opposition upon opposition?
This writing is from the perspective of standing in the Office of the Prophet and the journey to accept the call and to be accepted in the call. This also is a viewpoint from someone who has experienced just what you have gone through, the same choices to be made, the same opposition, and the same rejection. Do not be concerned about the faces. Be concerned about the face of God. The Bible tells us that we should not be concerned about the face of man but about the ordained purpose for which we have been created and sent through this journey called life.
All who have wondered about and questioned their calling can relate to the pages that follow. You may not be called to the Office of the Prophet, but you have been called by God. Stand in your calling, and run this race with patience.
Angelique Martin
Angelique Martin was called into ministry by an audible voice to the Office of the Evangelist. Then, in later years, she received the honor of elevation to the Office of the Prophet. She has a burden for the deeper knowledge and understanding of Jesus, His ways and Word to be realized in her sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus. Once she desired to become a lawyer, and thinking that dream would not appear, Angelique came to accomplish her dream contained within her call of Jesus. She is an itinerant speaker, in and out of the United States, while being God’s lawyer of the Word.

Introduction
This is a project to explore the topic of the Prophet as a present day, existing gift from Jesus and the believability of the office in the body of the Christian church. To begin the undertaking of this composition, a short general outlook of the Prophet will be presented.
My aim is to look into the Old Testament and New Testament structures, comparing any relationship or contrasting any difference. Lacking knowledge and understanding of the background of the Old Testament Prophet and the employment by God as a communicator of divine utterance very well may have hindered the New Testament Prophet from functioning in this present day. The Christian community today aligns the New Testament Prophet within the standards of the Old Testament Prophet thus giving value to disregard and to look down upon the Prophet. We will also look at the controls put upon the New Testament Prophet as it relates to what type
of direction is to be performed. Present day measures tend to put the Prophet in a box or maintain limitations when scripture does not specifically state this was God’s design. If we look at this mode of thought, it could be said the same is done to God and His desires for the Church and on an individual basis.
Exploration of each system of revealed commands will enlighten believers and the world that each range or scope of the Prophet can be unique in its origin and fulfillment. Then focusing upon the sensitive area of prophecy, I will inquire into the identity, nature and value of prophecy and the realm at which time prophecy is to be revealed. Many a Christian and or Christian community have experienced havoc, ruin and waste because of an incorrect prophecy or explanation, even though the acceptance and explaining of a prophecy is not the responsibility of the Prophet.
Along side the communication of the divine is timing. People may look at the area of timing, as it relates to giving a prophecy, but some avoid this vital necessity due to a lack of understanding or just being over zealous in the desire to speak forth for God. The operation of timing is also contained within the control and maturity of the Prophet. It is enough to say this subject is crucial to the well being of the body of Christ and God’s creation as a whole.
In another segment, we will look at the Office of the Prophet opposite the Person as the Prophet. An office can contain a person with a questionable motive or it could be the person is faulty in their operation of the office. The Person as the Prophet could have been placed in the position through the directive of another with a hidden or personal motive or could have begun
