    Giving My Life to Christ

    I would advise anyone who is planning to walk with God to consider the path they choose very carefully. I say this because one needs to be fully committed in their Christian pathway. They cannot expect to have one foot in the church and the other feet in the world. The Bible says, No one can serve two masters for Jehovah is a jealous God (Exodus 20:37).

    After reviewing my past life and reflecting on the friends I grew up with, most of whom are now dead or in prison, I believe that if I did not follow God, I could have been in the same situation. I used to be a part of a group of roughly seventeen to eighteen young men. However, to date, there are only five of them remaining, including myself. Some of these young men died through illnesses, gang-related warfare, or encounters with police.

    I know that giving my life to Christ was the best thing I have ever done. I am a witness, a messenger who God is using as an instrument to bring the Word to his people. I now believe that I have found my calling. My thirst for praising and worshiping God is unquenchable. Praise Ye the Lord. Amen.

      I dedicate this book to my wife and children. It is a privilege from God to be in the position that I am in today. A few years ago, I did not believe this would have been possible. I am here today with a beautiful woman I can call my wife. I am not trying to boast, for the Bible speaks about such things, but I am delighted that, even when I was in sin and shame, the Lord did not dispense with me but washed me and drew me closer to His side. He blessed me with some very talented children who are about to make their mark in this great country of the United Kingdom.

      Many people are not as fortunate as I am, for they have never experienced what it is like to have a real family that they love and care for. A songwriter said the family that prays together stays together.

      I am quite privileged and grateful to God that He has remembered one so humble and has blessed me. I now want to share my life story with others who have been in similar situations, that they too can be gifted by His majesty with the family and many other things which they have been yearning for.

      At one stage, my older children were taken away from me through jealousy; it was a continuous battle to see them. Due to this, I was unable to spend enough time as a father should with them. At one stage, I had to take their mother to court so I could see them.

      Even doing this did not stop her from making my life unbearable. However, when you are a true believer in Christ, no weapons formed against you shall prosper.

      I now have a very close relationship with my children; praise be to God.

      Acknowledgements

      Writing this book took a great deal of time and effort, especially where other commitments were concerned. It is very important to acknowledge all the people and organizations that have made it possible for this book to become the finished product that it now is.

      First and foremost, I must thank the most holy high God, Jehovah, for helping me through all the adversities to reach this final stage. My wonderful God-fearing parents, Mrs Uda Williams and Mr Joseph Williams, for the discipline and good upbringing that they instilled in me so I could be the father, husband, and man I now am. May the Lord richly bless their lives.

      I am not forgetting my daughters: Cerina Williams, who lives in Jamaica, as well as Chevica Williams, Tishana Williams, Chanae Williams, and Miah Williams, who live in the United Kingdom. May the love of God and His sweet fellowship continue to resonate in the lives of my
