Rabe Chili & Chicken

3 pounds of boneless and skinless chicken breasts
a diced onion
3 grated cloves garlic,
2 tablespoons of chili powder
A tablespoon of dried oregano
2 teaspoons of paprika(smoked)
2 teaspoons of dried thyme
¼ teaspoon of allspice
½ teaspoon of crushed pepper flakes
a bay leaf (dried)
a teaspoon of salt and pepper
a can of tomato paste
4 cups of chicken broth of low sodium

Instructions:
In a crockpot, add chicken, chili powder, onion, garlic, paprika, thyme, oregano, all spice, bay leaf, mashed pepper flakes, salt plus pepper. then put in tomato paste, balsamic vinegar & chicken soup. stir to mix and cover crockpot then cook over low heat about 7hours (or 5 hours high heat) stirring once in a while.
Towards latter 30 minutes cooking, mix broccoli rabe, cannellini beans & roasted peppers into a bowl then pour into the crockpot. put the heat to high then cover and cook 25 more minutes.
Shred chicken using two forks that it just be separate. Add parsley & parmesan and stir.
Pour the soup in bowls then serve along parmesan plus crusty bread.
Curried Butternut Squash Soup

2 pounds butternut jam, chopped to cubes
Sliced large yellow onion
2 diced granny-smith apples
2 carrots, sliced to chunks
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
A tablespoon of salt
A teaspoon of black pepper
two bay leaves
A tablespoon of mild or hot curry powder
¼ teaspoon of cinnamon powder
A teaspoon of fresh pounded ginger
A tablespoon of crushed garlic
2 cups of chicken (or vegetables) soup
½ cup of heavy cream

Instructions:
Spray oven using nonstick food spray. put in the butternut jam, apples, onions, carrots, sugar, , black pepper, salt, garlic, bay leaves , cinnamon curry powder, ginger and the soup. Then let cook on low heat about 7-8 hours (high heat about4-5 hours.)
Butternut jam is cooked if can easily be pierced using a fork, blend soup using a blender and cover
