About this ebook

This book, NO Compromise! offers God's direction to some of the controversial issues that we face today. God set out His laws years ago when He gave them to Moses, and He was very clear on what was right and what was sin. These laws were never debatable!

We didn’t get these laws because God wanted to dominate us; we got these laws so that we could live as close to God’s holiness as possible. The void of God and the absence of His laws produces sin. And the wages of sin is death! God loves us all and doesn’t want any of us to lose our lives because of sin.

However, sin has slithered into every aspect of our lives and slowly, God’s laws are being changed under the guise of compromise. But this is a deception and it’s leading many people down the deadly path of destruction. People need to get away from false teachers and get back into reading the Bible for themselves so they can know that God's word is NEVER to be compromised.

There is no option to stray from what God said or to change it to suit this sinful world. As Christians, we must study the Bible and know the truth so that we can be the children of God and true representatives of our Lord. We need to share the gospel of Christ with others, not a revised manmade version. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, and He does not change who He is or what He has said. And we must live in this same mindset because there is no compromise!

    No Compromise! - Ronnie Dauber

Beware of false doctrines! Beware of teachers who change the meaning of the Scriptures to suit their own lusts and material desires! Know the truth while there is still time!

    GOD DOES NOT CHANGE!

    THE SCRIPTURES DO NOT CHANGE!

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.—Hebrews 13:8

There are countless books on the market written by so-called believers who allege to know what God wants for today’s Christians. They want to bring God down to our level so that we can rule in His name. However, God does not come down. He gave us grace to bring us up.

The Bible teaches us about God and His plan for mankind. It is not a formula so we can embrace material wealth or an earthly inheritance. It teaches us that God is the Creator and the Lord over all and that He provided salvation for everyone—but it's also very clear that only those who accept it and give their lives to God will receive it. There is only one Bible and it is the complete Word of God, from creation until eternity. There is NO new interpretation for today's world! There is NO new message! There is NO new Spirit being poured out! The Bible is complete as it is.

I’ve been a Christian for over thirty years and I’ve met a lot of people who are falling prey to false teaching and erroneous doctrine. They are following blindly down a dangerous path of deception. Compromising the truth with human ideals is surfacing more and more in the world today. People need to become aware that there is no compromise when it comes to the Bible.

I wanted to do something that would inspire new Christians to seek God for their answers and encourage them to search the Bible for His truth. Several years ago I started a Christian blog called, Smile, God Loves You!. I write inspired messages that will, hopefully, direct Christians back to the Bible so they can know Jesus for themselves.

After more prayer I was inspired to write this book, NO COMPROMISE!, to offer basic biblical direction to some of the controversial issues in today's world. I hope to show through the Scriptures who the real Jesus of the Bible is and what God has said about some of these issues.

I pray that everyone who reads this book will be blessed and encouraged to study the Bible!

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.—Acts 17:11

    Acknowledgments

Thanks to my husband and best friend, Eric Dauber, for your encouragement and strength as we walk together daily on the path that leads to Heaven.

I especially want to thank my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, for taking my sins away and for giving me life. You have inspired me to write this book and to you, I give all the glory.

    Dedication

To all those who want to know the truth.

    Introduction

Before we get into the content of this book, there are a few things that I want to share with you.

Firstly, there is only one God! He is the same yesterday, today and forever—(Hebrews 13:8). There is only one way to know God and that is by studying the Holy Bible under the anointing of His Holy Spirit. The God of Heaven is NOT the false god of this world and His truth can only be revealed through studying the Scriptures.

Secondly, there is only one gospel of the Bible and that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s simple; it’s pure; and it’s unchanging since the beginning of time—(Hebrews 13:8). The message is the same now as it was when God spoke it. It has not, it can not, and it will not change or be modified regardless of how this world thinks it has the right to change it. People have changed, but God and His Word have never changed!

Thirdly, the Bible is not for private interpretation. People take the Scriptures out of context and make their own doctrines to suit their own greed, lust and ungodly desires—(2 Peter 1:20). God does not make allowances or exceptions for anything outside of His perfect will, which is made clear in the Scriptures.

And fourthly, the Bible does not contain contradictory material because every word of it combines God’s acts and laws and grace to compose His whole plan for mankind. People create confrontations because they do not study the Bible under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and in their ignorance they don’t understand it. So, they choose to believe what is convenient for them—(1 Timothy 4:1-2).

As the world continues to spread its relentless corruption, there are still many people who hunger for something better out of life, who want to know about God, and who want the hope of eternal life in Heaven. However, unless they meet the real Jesus and are taught how to discern the real gospel from the false doctrines through their own studies, they may still die lost.

This book will help lead you to the truth—the real gospel of Jesus Christ—so you can know what God says about various situations in life. The God of the Bible is true and just, loving and forgiving, trustworthy and rewarding—and faithful to His Word. He is all-powerful, all-knowing and the same yesterday, today and forever. He offers His love, grace and mercy to every one of us who will receive it.

As Christians in this modern world, we all have questions that need answers from God. When we don’t know the truth, we can miss the love and the power of God, and His direction for us. I hope that this book will answer many of your questions and will draw you closer to God. Being a Christian is a miraculous and wonderful gift from God, and hopefully, this book will show you why judgment will come to those who don’t accept Him.

If you don’t know Jesus, then you need to find Him now while there is still time—while His grace still abounds.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.—Matthew 7:7

    Chapter 1

What Does It Mean to Be Saved?

Most Christians identify their Christian status with the term being saved. But how many fully understand what that means? Saved from what? Before any of us can dig deep into the Bible or into the realm of Christianity, we need to know what it means to be saved.

To be saved means that we are free or pardoned from the wrath of God that is going to come upon this earth and that will end with a judgment for every person who is found with sin. Those who are guilty of sin—who have not repented—will be condemned to hell for a season and then cast into the lake of fire with the devil to burn for eternity.

Does God hate sinners that much? No! God doesn't hate sinners at all. He loves sinners and that's why He died on the cross for them. But what He does hate that much is sin.

To be saved means that we have come to the foot of the cross and accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior. It means that we believe that on the cross He took upon Himself all of our sins and paid the punishment in hell on our behalf for them. It means that we will no longer be punished with the unbelievers, but that we will receive the inheritance of God, which is eternal life with Jesus.

To be saved means that the sinful nature we once had is gone and that we now are part of God’s family—filled with His Holy Spirit. It means that we can pray and He will hear us and answer our prayers. It means that we have become His child and that He will care for us and protect us.

To be saved means that when we do wrong things on occasion—and we all do—we can come to God and repent for them and receive His forgiveness. It means that even though we did something wrong, God will still be with us and we will still belong to Him. He will never leave us when our hearts are toward Him, submissive to Him, and ready to repent when necessary—(Hebrews 13:5).

For us to fully understand how sin came about and why we need to be saved from it, we need to go back to the beginning and learn some history.

In the beginning, the only life in existence was in Heaven, and it was filled with the glory of God and all His angels. Of these celestial beings was a special angel named Lucifer, who was head over all the angels and who was given an incredible musical talent to lead the other angels into the worship of God. Unfortunately, Lucifer became jealous and desired the glory for himself. The instant that he acted on this thought, sin entered him. The Bible explains this in Isaiah 14: 12-17:

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

We all know that God created a beautiful garden in Eden, and that He made a man and woman, Adam and Eve, to live in this garden. The rest of the world was yet desolate and uninhabited by people. This garden was holy ground because it was pure, and Adam and Eve were also pure and without sin. So God, being holy, would come and walk with them in the cool of the evening—(Genesis 3:8).

God had planted two trees in the center of this garden and He told Adam not to eat from them. Adam passed this instruction on to Eve. Genesis 2:15-17 says:

And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, 'Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.'

The second tree is mentioned in Genesis 3:22-23:

And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever. Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken."

We don’t know when, but one day Lucifer—who we now know as Satan because he is filled with evil—decided that the time was perfect for him to destroy all that God had made. He was an angel, a spirit filled with guile and deceit, and who hated God enough to challenge Him to the death. So, he entered into the body of a serpent and then approached Eve one day in the garden. He persuaded her to eat from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. God had said that they would die if they disobeyed Him, but she didn't die. So, she took the fruit to Adam and charmed him into disobeying God and eating it. This was Adam’s biggest mistake!

God watched all of this happen, and the second Adam ate of the fruit, God withdrew His Spirit from him and Eve. Genesis 3:7 tells us that they suddenly felt different: And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. They had eaten from the tree and felt the Spirit of God leave them as the weight of anxiety and fear entered in—the spirit of the world. They knew that the death God had referred to was more than just physical; it was a separation from God. And they were very sorry.

God was deeply hurt because He loved Adam and Eve, but He had to put them out of the garden because they were no longer holy. Genesis 3:17-19 says:

And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, 'Thou shalt not eat of it': cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Adam had brought a curse upon himself and upon Eve and upon every child that would ever be born after that—all because he disobeyed God. Eve was deceived, but Adam disobeyed because it was him whom the Lord had instructed. Every single baby born from Cain right down to the last child of the age will be born with the same evil nature. The only way to get it out and to have God dwell in them is for them to repent, ask God to wash them clean of this sinful nature and then become filled with His Holy Spirit and follow Him.

God cursed the serpent and then made Adam and Eve a promise in Genesis 3:15, And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. God would send someone to redeem them back to Him.

Jesus is the person who God sent to redeem His children. He is the second Adam, the Son of God, born of a virgin and not fathered by a human but rather, by God—Luke 1:30-35. The Bible tells us in John 1:14, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

God Himself made a new man, Jesus, and He lived in that body while Jesus lived on the earth. His purpose was to be the sacrificial lamb that would die on the cross and take away the sins of the people of the world. Why? Because all sin, and anyone who is found with sin, will be cast into the lake of fire on judgment day, and God wants His children to be saved from that sentence. When we realize this and accept it, confess it to God and ask for forgiveness, then we are free of that sin, and He fills us with His Spirit. We become Christians—followers of Christ. And we are saved!

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.—John 3:17

Many will come to the cross because they want the security of Heaven, but they won't commit their lives to God and pursue the Christian life. They fall back into the world without having been forgiven or without having received the Holy Spirit. They remain lost in this evil world. But those who seek after the Lord will have their names written down in the look of life and will live forever with Jesus.

The people who do not accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, and who will fight God to the last second of time, will be sent to hell when they die. And on judgment day they will be cast into the lake of fire—a torment that no mind on earth can imagine and that will remind them forever and ever that they should have chosen Jesus.

Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.—Revelation 20:15

Does being saved make us perfect? No! It makes us forgiven so we can live in God’s grace that's been given to us through the shed blood of Jesus, our Savior. And it gives us the privilege of coming to Him and asking for forgiveness every time we do something sinful.

We still need to obey God and follow His laws, but we are no longer under the curse of the law. On Judgment Day we will all be judged according to the laws that we've broken, just as our earthly judicial system judges us. But when we are saved, there is no sin in us so we won't receive a punishment, but instead, eternal life with
