I read this book cover to cover the moment I got it in my hands. Her story is moving and touching and, for anyone who has ever had a heart attack or witnessed a loved one have one, it’s deeply real and true. Her facts on this disease are given in a straight forward manner, skip all the medical terms. 1 in 3 women die from heart disease, and it’s preventable with just simple changes. Her tips for preventing this disease are given in a realistic and honest way that is actually attainable and easily measurable. This book is clear, concise and real. Its real life, it really can happen to anyone, and there are very real ways to prevent it. If you love someone, share this book with them. It could make the difference in how long you get to have them here with you."

This book shares a real personal experience of cardiac arrest and how you can make simple changes in your life to lower your risk of heart disease and keep from suffering the same fate. A woman’s greatest risk of death is from heart disease. Not only does this book help women recognize symptoms of a heart attack, but it also includes lifestyle and healthy eating tips to get you on the road to a healthier life. There are great journal sheets and worksheets along with the steps you need to take to get you on your way.
