Part 1: Welcome To Paradise
WOO-HOO! NATE, ISN't this great?
I looked to the left at my friend, Kelly. Her bright blue eyes were shining, and her blonde hair cascaded around her face, making her appear almost angelic. Only moments earlier we had on the newest Roblox server, Paradise Island, along with a group of our best friends. We had all been looking forward to taking a relaxing vacation from Meep City for some time now, and the opportunity had finally come! Paradise Island was the hottest server in the Roblox universe right now, and for good reason! It was a tropical island surrounded by crystal clear oceans, complete with a five-star resort designed for parties and relaxation.
I know!
I exclaimed. I can't wait to get checked into our rooms and then hit the beach!
Did someone say beach??
A voice boomed from behind Kelly and me.
A second later, the heavy hand of my best friend, Brent clapped down on my shoulder. Brent was a muscular guy who spent his time in the gym when he wasn't hanging out with me. Behind him was the rest of our little clan, Brent's girlfriend, Corrie, and Karra.
Yeah, buddy! How about a little two-on-two beach volleyball?
I asked.
Totally dude! With guns like I have, the other team doesn't stand a chance!
Brent joked and kissed one of his bulging biceps.
You'd better behave yourself!
Corrie interjected, glaring playfully at Brent.
Don't worry babe! I'll go easy on them... at first!
Uh, I hate to be a buzzkill, guys, but I'm not sure today is the day for beach volleyball,
Karra cut int. The weather report is calling for storms!
Karra! Don't be such a killjoy!" Corrie said, in her heavy valley girl accent.
Hey,
I said. Don't blame the weather on Karra. Besides, I've heard that thunderstorms increase the frequency of shark sightings! Maybe we'll see one!
We had better not! I came here to relax not lose a limb. Besides, this server doesn't have any sharks in the first place!
Kelly cried.

Ugh. Boys. Come on, sharks or not, we need to get checked into our rooms.
