I'm sorry, the writing is really rough. I couldn't get through the first few pages. Awkward word usage, poor syntax and grammar, and a lack of punctuation. I got the impression that English is not the author's first language.

    A couple quotes:
"But there is cheering news! Intake of anti-inflammatory foods can help correct the whole situation, whatever may the root cause."
"How Does Inflammation Benefits and Harms?"

INTRODUCTION

How It All Began

I am a nutrition and wellness expert and a strong believer in the principles that our foods should be our medicines.  I have authored several articles, books and blog posts on how individuals can improve their life by adopting an anti-inflammatory diet.  I always had a passion for nutrition and wellness. My interest in the anti-inflammatory diet was kindled by my diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS) at the age of 21. With the support of my family, most especially my wonderful husband, I developed an anti-inflammatory nutrition regimen that has kept the symptoms of the disease in check for the past 16 years ago. It must be stated loud and clear that, my MS diet has assisted several individuals with all sorts of inflammatory medical challenges to improve their health and restore hope to their lives. My story, as well as my skills in nutrition and wellness, had helped me to appear on lots of talk shows, radio programs, and countless interviews. My recipes, nutrition, and wellness advice have featured in several media such US Today, Chicago Sun-Times and the Boston Globe and so many others.

As a mom, I thoroughly understand the time constraints other women face in their daily struggles, therefore my focus is to make my dietary recommendations that are doable and realistic as possible. My recipes and nutrition advice are particularly popular with time-crunched moms trying to balance health, family, and work at the same time.  It is on this premise I present to you this anti-inflammatory diet book to help you in your daily pursuits of healthy life and well-being.

A Natural Treatment Approach

Despite the fact that a dietary change appeared so enticing, I wasn’t 100%  self –assured that something as easy as nutrition could crash a disease as serious as multiple sclerosis (MS).  My uncertainty made me consult several authorities in the field of nutritional science.

I was awed by the kind of resources made available to me. I embraced diet change as a form of therapy to take care of my condition because scientific research has confirmed dietary therapy as an effective way for the disease.

I was convinced that an anti-inflammatory diet could definitely help improve life and without any negative side effects. With the support of my family most especially my loving husband Michael, I kick-started the process of changing over to a healthy diet. And amazingly, within a few weeks, I began to experience the sweeping benefits of nutrition for a host of conditions that goes beyond multiple sclerosis.  This therapy opened my eyes to the significant ability of the brain and the body to remodel themselves. For instance, in individuals suffering from multiple sclerosis, the brain and body possess the immeasurable capacity to repair itself once they are supplied with the required nutrients. In the same vein, activities that put brain and body into effect seem to be crucial to the development of the cognitive store to turn around the affected areas caused by multiple sclerosis.

Of recent, it has been reported that disease development in multiple sclerosis occurs as a result of the inability of the brain to repair itself. Averagely, you replenish almost 1% of the cells in your body every day, and those new cells are either become stronger and younger or weaker and older. In all of this, an individual lifestyle holds a fundamental role in cell renewal.  Engaging in physical activities constantly and supplying your body the appropriate nutrients, consuming anti-inflammatory and antioxidant foods, eating healthy fats such as omega-3 fats all work uniformly to keep the brain in the fluidic and happy mood, hence providing enabling environment to manage multiple sclerosis. Definitely, all can similarly benefit exceedingly from healthy lifestyle choices.

It is a known fact to all and sundry that the healthiest diet in the world is an anti-inflammatory diet, based on selecting nutrient-rich whole foods in their most organic and unrefined form. Equally established is the fact this awesome diet would greatly benefit individuals suffering from any kind of inflammatory condition such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, and hypertension. And the unexpected side benefits is hunger-free weight loss. In one word, an anti-inflammatory diet can be described unequivocally as a one size fits all diet.

I had a great pregnancy apart from the usual morning sickness. During my pregnancy, I gained a healthy 25 pounds, and never went through of the post-pregnancy awful encounters so common among women with multiple sclerosis. My daughter, Michele was 7 pounds at the time of birth; and from the first, she has been unbelievably healthy. I nursed her exclusively for the first 6 months and then placed her on the same nutrient-rich, anti-inflammatory whole foods I followed. Michele is now 15 years old and she’s been on antibiotics just once in her entire life. She has never had an ear infection, she does not have allergies, she does not suffer from asthma and above all she rarely gets sick. The only exception is just her regular scheduled check-ups as such she does not need to visit her pediatrician.

In life disaster may open doors you do not know existed when you see everything through a positive prism. If not for multiple sclerosis, I wouldn’t think natural foods would be attractive to me because in those days natural foods appeared too fringe to be appealing. Times are gradually changing. There has an increasing number of individuals who have adopted an anti-inflammatory diet as a result of its amazing benefits. In American today, an increasing number of individuals are demanding healthful, better-balanced, whole foods meals.

As Americans, we should always remember that healthy living is a day to day journey but it can be fun and exciting.

Preparing for the Anti-Inflammatory Diet

The anti-inflammatory diet can be so simple, mouth-watering, and pocket-friendly. It is fundamentally best investment anyone can make for his or her long-term health and vitality.

In this section, we will lay bare the rudiments to help you know better how chronic inflammation works, and understand the resources that will propel you toward vibrant wellness. Read on to learn how you help your body in the healing process through meals that easy to make and fulfilling to eat.

The Anti-Inflammatory Diet Basics

Inflammation can take over our feelings of wellness and slow us down, but when it turns chronic this may indicate that something is amiss in our lifestyle or diet. Ordinarily, normal inflammation happens in the body from time to time as part of the natural rule of maintaining a healthy internal homeostasis. It is when this essential process of inflammation gets out of control that wellness becomes interrupted. This chapter highlights how this occurs and also discusses the principles of an easy anti-inflammatory diet, based on whole foods and rooted in science, to help you in getting your natural balance in order. Also, the simple lists of foods to include and those to do away with will assist in selecting meals beyond the recipes. We equally explain how individuals' bodies respond in a different way to certain ingredients, hence you can personalize these recipes in the best way to suit your nutritional needs.

How Does Inflammation Benefits and Harms?

When the immune system is functioning excellently, inflammation plays an essential role in individuals' body healthy response to infection or injury. Upon infection or injury, for instance, a scrape on the ankle or exposure to the cold that all of us experienced at the office, our immune system acts to reinstate health. This opens a door to a period of acute inflammation that enhances healing as the body's defense system renew and bring back wholeness. As the situation has been successfully controlled, the immune response switches off, and the inflammation around the point of infection or harm reduces.

When you observe that a cut on your finger is red, warm, painful and swollen, all of this, is part of inflammation that is occurring because of an excellent immune system at work. Immune cells have been mobilized to the site of the harm; therefore there are increases in blood flow to the area, resulting to the observance of swelling and heat, which naturally goes down as the wound heals. With time, you only have a scar to remind you of the event.

This type of localized inflammation may not need any other treatment; though maintaining a regular anti-inflammatory diet like one explained in this book will see to it that your body contains all the nutrients required to support even this little healing process.

However, a small cut that appears to stay on for too long a time, swollen, and not healing up, might be a sign of a major issue. In this situation, the ordinary process of acute inflammation may have gone on without checked, symbolizing that is more troubling. This can happen because of an unhealed infection such as Hepatitis B or C, lengthened exposure to environmental poisons such as cigarette smoke or other existing conditions such as autoimmune disease or overweight. Habitual factors such as stress and diet can also aggravate the inflammatory response. Initially, there may not be any visible signs of this type of continuous low-intensity inflammation, yet in the
