First and foremost I wish to give all the glory, honor, and praises to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost for this entire book. From the cover to, every place and person the Lord sent to me or across my path. Truly without them none of this would have been possible.

    CONTRIBUTORS

To my wife, who gave me a choice to choose between the Lord or her?

To my two children, who chose to leave home right after high school to pursue their own calling? This in itself left me nowhere else to go but to the Lord. (2 Sam. 7: 10)

To everyone the Lord used from the least who persecuted me daily, even to the greatest Angelic massager the Lord used to minister to me. Special thanks two Brother Edwards for all his help.

The Ryrie Study Bible; By Charles Ryrie. Copyright ©1978, Moody Bible Institute of Chicago Moody Press. Used with permission. This was the bible that I used throughout this book. Out of all the bibles I have read, this one was more alive to me. God’s Word jumped out of its pages onto me after prayer. Special thanks to Jennie Sawyer for Janet McVay Editorial Assistant, to whom gave me permission to copy God’s Word.

To the Christian Complex Church in Bunnell, Fl. 32110 and all my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus for their support and fellowship. Special thanks to Pastor Cheal who kept me planted, watered and humble.

To the University of Biblical Studies of Bethany, Oklahoma 73008 for opening my eyes to religion.

I am most thankful and grateful for My Lord and Savior in using me in putting this book together and in helping me not to limit Him in what you have before you today. Amen…

    INTRODUCTION

G reetings to those who are called of God and to His church: grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. In Pro. 5: 21 it says, For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all of his goings. The Lord sees you when you go forward or backward or to the left or right: you can run but you can’t hide. As much as I would like to hide, God won’t let me. You see my biggest desire is that it would be Him, not me, in everything you see, feel, and hear in this entire book from cover to cover. In order for you to understand why the Lord would have anything to do with me in the first place concerning this book, I have to tell you a little bit about me. I don’t like it any more than you do, so here goes…

In Pro. 5: 23 it says, "He shall die without instruction: and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. God’s word is talking about you and me here: without the right instruction we shall die. When I first came to the Lord, I was blessed immediately with someone giving me a bible. You see some people when they first get saved they have a lot of questions and no answers. Many don’t own or have a bible, or church to go to; let alone anyone to communicate and have fellowship with. I was right there with the best of them until someone gave me my first bible. With time I found out that all the answers to my questions were in God’s Word. In the beginning on this journey with the Lord, I had asked Him if there was a self-teaching how to book that anyone can read and grow up to be who He wanted them to be. When I read Jn. 15: 5 it said, For without Me ye can do nothing." I knew right then and there, it was Him that I needed to instruct me, not man. For more than ten years God blessed me with His instructions. In doing so, I did something that most people wouldn’t even think of doing.

As I was being instructed by Him, I took notes. Like when certain scriptures jumped out of the page at me, or when the Lord answered a question I had with His Word. The more I read and heard His Word, the more I wanted to know, learn and understand about Him and His promises. So when the Lord had me doing bible studies or preaching to the congregation, I would not do it unless it was Him, not me. So I used the notes that I took with God’s in-structions that He gave me and something incredible happened…

You see not only did God’s instructions change the way I was in everything I said and did, but it also changed everyone He had me minister His instructions to. Can you picture what it’s like for someone to hear the truth for the first time? After a bible study one night, I saw someone come right out of their wheelchair and walk out to a vehicle. Without anyone praying for that person. By just being there and hearing what God gave me in His instructions? This was the very thing that this person needed to change and turn their life around. I started seeing changes in everyone, and their growth was miraculous.

They went from talking the walk or saying one thing and doing something else. To walking the talk or did everything they said they would. He gave me the desires of my heart, and showed me that it was Him and not me: for truly I can do nothing without Him. My thirst and hunger for His instructions grew more and more and He revealed unto me, the mysteries of His word in ways I’ve never seen or heard taught anywhere. If you have a real hunger or thirst for Gods instructions and are serious about it, then this book is a must for you. My desire now, is to get these same instructions to you and see how God blesses you.

    God bless you two folds

    HOW TO USE THIS BOOK

    Cover Letter

    God’s Instructions From

    Walk The Talk Ministries

G ood morning. Grace be to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. In Act. 10: 34 it says, God is no respecter of persons: It doesn’t matter if you are male or female, big or little, black or white, foreign or domestic, what’s important is your thirst and hunger for God’s instructions, and you have taken the first step. Jesus said it best when He told His disciples, The word ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. (Jn. 14: 24)

God woke me up in the middle of the night so you can get this message hot off the press. I know without any doubt whatsoever God has done for me and still is, He can do for you. These instructions that God gave me are written in a way to help you grow and walk with the Lord. In Pro. 8: 33-34 it says, You need to hear God’s instructions to be wise and blessed. This means when you are reading these instructions you also need to hear them. This will make all the difference in the world in your personal relationship with God.

The more you do it the more you will not want to do without it. If you put God first, He will put you first. When you read this letter and all of God’s instructions out loud, try to be all alone by yourself, because the devil will use anything and anybody to steal God’s instructions away from you. Just like when you plant a seed in the ground you have to allow enough time for it to do its part before it can grow and manifest itself. There is something you must do before you are blessed like I was with these instructions and that is, you must ask the Lord to open your eyes, ears, and understanding, before you go any further with this letter and God’s instructions.

In Jas. 4: 2 it says, "Ye have not, because ye ask not." If you don’t ask, He does not have to do it. I certainly can’t do it for you. The bottom line is how serious are you in having a personal relationship with hearing and seeing Him? Whenever the Lord uses me to do a Bible study or to preach from His pulpit, He has me prepare His people to receive His instructions. He’s telling me right now to prepare you in the same manner. If you’re reading this letter just to hear me, you’re wasting your time and God’s. But if you are reading and hearing God’s instructions to see and hear what God wants to tell and show you, then God will knock your socks off!

In Gal. 6: 7 God’s word says, "For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." In other words, you need to give something to receive something from the Lord when reading and hearing these lessons prepared for you. Each lesson is like a complete meal. You have your appetizers, your soup, your salad, your main course, and your dessert. But some people just go for the appetizers or the dessert not taking the time they should for the main course. Many go to the Lord in different ways, like prayer or going to church. But most have one thing in common; they come to the Lord with their needs and wants. God has needs and wants also. What I am trying to say is, many times without realizing it, we limit God in the way we receive answers to our prayers, needs and wants because we don’t take the time to see and hear what it is He’s trying to tell and show us. I tell people if they came to see and hear me they’re in the wrong place. God knows all your needs and wants, even before you do.

If you want to have a personal relationship with the Lord, you need to be able to give and to receive. When you read and hear each lesson, leave all of your troubles, problems, fears, needs and wants outside the room you’re in. I’ll guarantee they’ll be waiting for you when you come out. Each time I hear and see God’s instructions I get more and more from Him that I can apply and use each and every day. For me it is very exciting when God has me share His instructions with others.

Like in an open Bible study where the Holy Spirit moves miraculously, manifesting Himself in many different ways through others in the room. If we go to the Lord with me, myself and I, where does God fit in? I’m not saying everyone is like this but many don’t know any better limiting answers to their prayers, needs and wants. If you don’t let God get His 10%, how are you ever going to get your 90%? For some of you there may be a lot of things you already know written in these lessons. You should take the time to see and hear those things you don’t know.

Take a sheet of paper and take notes on what God is trying to show and tell you. Always use notes because you never know when God may want to knock some socks off using what He gave you some time down the road. I’m just an anointed vessel of the Lord, used of God, and I may have a funny way of saying and doing things. That is why it is so important for you to make and use your own notes. There are many things I cannot do very well, such as spelling and writing. You can see where this could be a major problem for me especially in writing this letter and all of God’s Instructions to you.

When Moses needed help God sent Aaron to help him. When I needed help, the Lord sent Brother Edwards to help me. He had a special gift from God; he could spell really well and knew a lot about punctuation marks, and all about writing letters. Not only did God bless Brother Edwards by increasing his ability in spelling and writing, God also increased mine. (A two-edged sword.)

By the time Brother Edwards had finished helping me with four lessons and two cover letters, he came to me and said, It was scary at first. Because he was hearing the Lord speak to him, telling him things to come and confirming His Word. That’s when I got excited, because God was manifesting Himself through others with the use of this cover letter and lessons. (Answer to prayer.)

I have devoted an entire page at the end of each lesson for any additional notes you may have. This way every time you read and hear these instructions you will get more out of them.As you read and hear these lessons, see if you can find what was said, or read that made it possible for someone to hear God’s voice. See if anything you read and hear makes a difference in your life? If you use what God gives you, He will give you more.

As you hear and see His instructions and start using and applying them each and every day in your walk with God your life will never be the same. Amen…

I love you in the lord always.

    SECTION TWO:

    GOD’S

    INSTRUCTIONS

    FROM

    WALK THE TALK MINISTRIES

    Lesson 1

    A CHANGE OF FAITH:

J AMES 5: 16 Confess your faults one to another. and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avileth much.

There are many deferent ways that people choose to confess their faults to one another, but it’s not as Important as to how they deal with it; and that’s where prayer comes in. Efectual = Producing the effect desired or intended, it must be valid, sound, good or just. Fervent = Seriousness, earnest, and driving. When a prayer comes from our heart it makes all the deference especially if there are two or three in agreement.

JAMES 5: 17-18 "Eli’as was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: And it rained not of the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, And the heaven gave rain, And the earth brought forth her fruit."

It said that Elijah prayed earnestly. God hears our prayers, but will He answer them like He did for Elijah? Let’s see what Elijah did for God to fulfill his prayer shall we?

1 KINGS 17: 1 "And Elijah the Tishbit, who was of the inhabitants of Gil’ead, said unto Ahab, as the lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word."

Or until I say differently; note where Elijah said, (years) he was in it for the long hall. King Ahab did evil in the sight of the Lord and did more to provoke Him to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him. Elijah means Yahweh is God a significant name in a time when Baal (sun god) worship threatened to extinguish the worship of Yahweh (God) in Israel.

1 KINGS 17: 2-3 "And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Che’rith, that is before Jordan."

Cherith = A stream in Gilead, east of Jordan. Do you think the Lord had Elijah hide himself to see if he was who he said he was or to protect him from Ahab?

1 KINGS 17: 4 "And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there."

Sometimes God does things differently than the way we think He’s going to do them. Here God is using ravens or unclean animals to feed Elijah a man of God.

1 KINGS 17: 5-7 "So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Che’rith, that is before Jordan. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land."

Elijah did according unto the word of Lord. What do you think would happen if he chose not to? When we choose to do according unto the word of the Lord, it’s not to get what we want, it’s because the only way to the Father and eternal life is by His word.

1 KINGS 17: 8-9 "And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zar’ephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee."

Zarephath = A town on the Mediterranean coast between Tyre and Sidon. Here again Elijah was being tested. Many widows were in Israel in those days, but God sent Elijah unto an unsaved widow woman who was not Jewish.

1 KINGS 17: 10-12 "So he arose and went to Zar’ephath. And he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die."

The famine had extended this far north and the widow was preparing her last meal. Do you think the widow woman had a effectual fervent prayer of her own? In Jam. 4: 2 God’s word says, "Ye lust and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not." Just like Elijah, God waited for the brook to dry up before sending him somewhere else. There are times when we do for the Lord and it’s not until the eleventh hour or until we ask, before He makes a way.

1 KINGS 17: 13-16 "And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she and he, and her house, did eat many days, And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which He spoke by Elijah."

Did Elijah use what God gave him? If God can use ravens to feed Elijah, why not an unsaved widow woman to sustain him? She had a place for him to sleep; water to drink along with oil and flour to feed him with. What would you need to be sustained?

1 KINGS 17: 17-18 "And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him. And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?"

The mother thought her son had died because of a sin she had committed in her past. But God took the only thing she put first in her life; to change her faith. God will use the very thing that takes our eyes off of Him to see if we are who we say we are.

1 KINGS 17: 19-21 "And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed. And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? And he stretched himself upon the child three times,
