Self-Defense for Men, Women and Children
()
About this ebook
This book is your first big step in learning some self-defense. The techniques are designed strictly for beginners and preparation and lessons are based on the asumption that you have no prior self-defense training. Each technique will be broken down step-by-step for you to learn easily. This book will serve at least three essential purposes for the reader: to alert and educate individuals on the potential dangers that are in our neighborhoods today, to realize the importance of self-defense, and to get you started on learning the self-defense martial art of Ken-Ryu Kenpo.
Alan D'Allessandro

Shihan began training in Shaolin Kempo-Karate in 1984. In 1985, he converted to Okinawan Karate. He earned his first black belt in 1987. Eager to continue his education in the martial arts, Shihan resumed his training in Shaolin Kempo-Karate. In 1993, he once again reached the rank of black belt in this second discipline, now holding that rank in two related but distinct styles.
In 1996, Shihan was granted the opportunity to study under the late 10th degree Grandmaster, Professor Nick Cerio. This
