    Bibliography

    Preface

In the twenty-first century, there are some serious problems facing human lives worldwide. Are there any new ideas that can solve these problems? Obviously, those new ideas have not presented themselves to the world leaders in the past, and people all over the world have been affected consequently.

I was amazed and disturbed to see that people were shouting at each other during town hall meetings for the healthcare reform in July and August of 2009. Many people do not have true and accurate knowledge about the healthcare system, but they used hearsay, superficial and partial knowledge, and untrue information to argue their points. In fact, their points and arguments were mainly against their own current healthcare benefits, but they didn’t know that. It can be very dangerous to a society and country if hearsay knowledge fuels massive, widespread events. Not only do individuals not understand the complex healthcare system, but they also are not willing to listen and obtain accurate information about the issue at hand. If this is the way of life in our society, then we are in big trouble in the years to come.

There are many easy access points to obtain information and find knowledge quickly through all sorts of the media, such as books, magazines, TV talk shows, and radio broadcasts; however, it can be very difficulty to differentiate between the true and the untrue information out there. Yet, it is very important to know the unquestioned facts.

In the twenty-first century, it’s good that people of the world can communicate with each other quickly through information technology. The bad news is, however, that some people still follow the wrong path and repeat the same mistakes that others have committed in the past thousand years worldwide. Modern human thinking and inherited behavior have changed little in a sociological way. Essentially, they have not caught up with the fast progress of technology. There was WWI, and then there was WWII. Now, there is terrorism all over the world. In my opinion, the terrorist attacks are actually worse than WWI and WWII, because they are unpredictable and because we don’t know when they will end. Do humans really want to continue down this dangerous path?

The time has come for we, the people of the world, to begin building our beautiful, blue planet Earth into a paradise for humans to live on. But how can we accomplish this goal? New, deep knowledge and new thinking can spread quickly to the various peoples of the world via information technology. Indeed, not only the leaders of each country but also their people need to gain the new knowledge contained in this book to change their way of thinking in order to make Earth a better place to live.

The secretary of the United Nations undoubtedly plays the major role in the promotion of world peace for the current or future secretary. The two major current international issues facing people of the world today are the following: (1) the peace talks between Israel and Palestine, and (2) the China and Taiwan military confrontation and peace talks. My proposals in this book may definitely help facilitate the resolution of these peace talks. The secretary has never thought about these ideas before, but they could very well bring world peace without placing too much of a heavy burden on his shoulders. Indeed, this will save huge sums of money, preserve human lives, and more importantly, quell the hatred between different people that has persisted over many generations.

There are two sentences that have been taught in the grammar schools of all Chinese children. Si Hai Yi Jia translates into English as "Four oceans, one family." Tian Xia Wei Gong translates into English as Heaven underneath belong public. Indeed, this is a beautiful concept. Humans exist on this beautiful blue planet Earth, and we are all in the same family. We should live peacefully together and enjoy this wonderful land. Can we all come together to solve the problems confronting us in the twenty-first century?

Our life on Earth is very short, especially in comparison to the age of the universe. It is very difficult for any one person to gain deep knowledge during their brief lifetime. This book intends to offer as much new knowledge as possible.

I, the author, have presented many innovative theories, new ideas, and new knowledge in this book. Where are those new ideas coming from? The answer is that I have always asked and raised questions during my lifetime, whether I was reading the book, the Bible, a journal, a magazine, or an article, or attending a lecture, a meeting, or a debate. I
