Annette Walker was born and still resides in Cornwall Ontario Canada. She is the author of, “The Unknown Truth” and her new novel, “Converge”. She is a mother of three wonderful children with over a decade of working as a secretary. Walker wrote her first book on her IPod 4 but quickly upgraded to a laptop. She has a lot of support from all her family and her friends.

Who Should Read This Book
This book is for anyone who seriously cares about the future of America’s public education system. I hope this is you! Whether you know more or less about today’s complex education issues, the issues are explained in simple terms that are easy to understand. Novices and professionals can gain a deeper understanding of this important topic and a heightened awareness of what’s really going on.
Why I Wrote This Book
You have, more than likely, heard about the massive budget cuts in education, specifically in the state of California, and you probably want an explanation for why this is. The campus setting isn’t nearly as nurturing and coddling as it was a few years ago. Tight budgets and enrollment caps, not to mention faculty and staff layoffs, have changed our way of doing business. Despite the discouraging circumstances, I am more committed than ever to help all students realize their potential.
Moreover, I strongly encourage my colleagues and policy makers to get out of their offices and visit some schools and tour some campuses to see how much things have really changed. Spend some time sitting in a classroom or listen to parents tell their stories of what their child is experiencing at school.
