Raised in a military family, I lived in different places. This peripatetic life forced me to take refuge in books at a young age. I can't tell you how many books I read. But in middle school and through high school, I loved reading Victor Hugo, Thomas Hardy, Charles Dickens, and Jules Verne. Books were an escape.I eventually left home at seventeen to join the military and thought my issues with same-sex attraction could be solved. But, I was wrong. Luckily, I found someone in my life after undergoing trials and tribulations. Why do I read and write male-male romance? Frankly, we all need love and romance in our lives. You can never have too much love, or romance. Right?

It’s been a while since I’ve read a MM romance novella, so I’m glad I came across this one. While it nice to see [for some individuals at least] of the same sex finding each other and falling in love to the point at which they decide to get married. Caleb and Sebastian are such a couple. Caleb without racecar driving in his future has taken a job as a sports model, with Sebastian still working as a cameraman. This creates havoc in Caleb’s mind regarding their future as a couple and their financial situation. Adding to this glitch in their relationship and then to make it even more complex, like a wife in a typical heterosexual sexual marriage, Sebastian desires to have children from an adoption agency they can raise together as a real family. While this might be important to Sebastian in his life, for Caleb it’s far more important to have their loving relationship continue unabated. This sort of conflict as created a somewhat major crossroad in their relationship, a crossroad which will hopefully end happily. The crossroad theme as the book’s title suggests, happens again when their friend Cujo comes from Florida to visit our couple and he meets their roommate Tristan. While Tristan presents himself to be an amiable and affectionate individual, his personality creates an awkward situation for Cujo; awkward because he had once been in an unsuccessful relationship in college which had been caused by his being frightened having it with another man. Will Cujo be able to conquer the horrendous remembrance of his first same sex relationship so he can let Tristan into his life and find the love he truly desires to have.In the end, will both of these loving same sex couples get the kind of HEA they desire? For having given his readers a rather enthralling reading experience, I’m giving the author, W.S.Long, 5 STARS.NOTE: I actually received this copy of the book through a giveaway the author had on Amazon and the above has been my honest opinion. While, when I’d entered the giveaway I hadn’t realized that this book is actually the third/final installment of a three-book series, I found this book does relatively well as a stand-alone story.
