Reviews for Summary of Lean In
5 ratings2 reviews
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5As an educated female (college professor) who has worked hard to overcome societal obstacles for minority women, I felt that there were many times that this book was speaking directly to me and the experiences I have had. At times, I could not put this book down. I choose this book for a book club I ran with our female grad students and the reviews were mostly positive. The only thing I will note is that this book is probably not for those who are not aspiring to leadership roles or professional careers. One student commented that the book seems to suggest that not aiming high career-wise is a failure. Thus, I imagine that stay-at-home moms might potentially be offended by the way success is defined in this book. However, I do not think this is the intended audience.
