Absolute Proof That God Really Exists
()
About this ebook
Many years ago my life was a mess, and I was desperate to hear from God. In a small prayer meeting with my best friend and two pastor's wives, we were praying fervently to God. Suddenly, a bright light slowly moved toward me and then burst into my face. Simultaneously, a bolt of what felt like electricity ran through all of us. It didn't hurt but caused us to shake furiously. Somehow, the other three knew that the miracle was meant for me and not for them. Much more happened during this miracle. Later in the book, I write in detail all that happened during my encounter with God.

Audrey started writing over ten years ago. Having a passionate love of books, she developed a desire to also write books. Although she wanted to start writing earlier in life, her busy lifestyle would not allow her to do so because she worked as a registered nurse while raising a family. However, while earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in college, she took writing/English courses. She was forced to retire early from nursing to take care of her debilitated mother which freed her from working outside the home. Needing to earn money, she worked from home for a company that provided articles that averaged about 500 words for websites. This company was very strict, to the point of being picky, and she honed her writing skills. Possessing a vivid imagination and having lived through a lot of good, bad, and ugly experiences in her life, she began to write books. She has written and published six books.

EPILOGUE: SUMMARY
Foreword
My first goal in this book is to encourage people who sometimes question their faith; the second is to encourage church members to always act like Christians; and the third is to show how important it is to make good choices, especially in establishing relationships. This is a book for Christians, not for unbelievers.
Mature Christians may already know about most of the things written about in this book, but maybe not in the way I have presented them, which will hopefully make them think and wonder about how God is working in their lives. The overall goal of the book is to encourage believers to NEVER GIVE UP, no matter what, and God will help them conquer any problem they face in life.
Prologue
I did not write this book to merely share my miraculous encounter with God to prove that he truly exists; I wrote it to help Christians who are struggling with overwhelming problems in their lives that causes them to question their faith at times.
Although I was saved at twelve years old, I was not totally committed to God until I was in my early thirties. Up until then, I had never turned to God to help me run my life which was in a state of total disarray.
However, after wising up and totally committing myself to God, I was still destined to undergo and withstand some serious problems, both physically and emotionally, but God used these dark times in my life to teach me lessons that I could not have learned any other way.
This book will not entertain but will hopefully cause the reader to think and wonder about how God works in a person’s life. Although I have endured some unspeakable tragedies, with the help of God my story has a happy ending.
Part One
CHAPTER ONE
"When I sit down to write a book, I do not say to
myself, ‘I am going to produce a work of art.’
I write it because there is some lie that I want
to expose, some fact to which I want to draw attention,
and my initial concern is to get a hearing."
-George Orwell-
As the cover of this book asserts, I had a miraculous encounter with God over 30 years ago, and it proved to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that God exists. Although I am a writer, I have NOT written about this experience before. Why? God has not impressed me to tell my story until now.
Ecclesiastes 3:2 (KJV) To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven:
I was twelve years old before I began to think complex thoughts about my life, why I was born, what the future held for me, and if God existed. I believed in him but would have liked indisputable proof that he was real.
At that time in my life, I could not imagine that twenty years later he would prove to me in a personal encounter that he truly exists, and in his wisdom, he would provide three very trustworthy witnesses to validate the miracle.
When this miracle happened to me my life was a mess, and I was desperate to hear from God. I was in a small prayer meeting with my best friend and two pastor’s wives. We were holding hands in a circle praying fervently to God. I did not tell my friends what was happening during the miracle because they were also experiencing a small part of the phenomenon.
Another aspect of the miracle, even though they were somewhat involved, they somehow knew it was for me, not for them, but only for me.
There is a lot more to this story, and I will discuss in detail what happened during the miraculous event later in this book. Did Jesus dance with joy?
CHAPTER TWO
"Reading without reflecting
is like eating without digesting."
-Edmund Burks-
My primary goal in writing this book is that I want to show the new Christian and remind the mature one how important it is to establish an intimate relationship with God. He wants his people to have more than a superficial and lackadaisical attitude toward him.
While writing this book, I have constantly prayed that I put into words what God wants his people to know, who he is, how the earth began, who began the act of worshiping him, why he sent his son to earth, why Jesus died for our sins, and how important the churches are to encourage us in our walk of faith.
I have been a victim of criticism all my life which has played a big part in making my decisions as I have struggled to find happiness. When I was young, I would make a good decision but would let someone talk me out of it many times by someone who does not make good decisions. When you are young, you are easily manipulated.
However, I have come to believe that it has been in God’s plan that I would one day write a book showcasing criticism which is so prevalent in our culture today in 2018.
Hateful criticism is dominating the news channels, and social media is being overtaken by liberals who spew hateful garbage 24/7. The sad thing is that their hate is usually based on hateful lies by another hateful liberal. Who is feeding them this hateful garbage? The Devil has never had such a captive audience, and he’s working overtime to do all the damage he can to the USA.
While I will go into some but not a lot of detail how criticism has affected my intimate relationship with my family, I will show how it has changed me as I encountered it in attending several churches. God reprimanded seven churches in Revelation, which I will address later in this book, and he has made it plain that his churches are to be places of love, learning the truth, and obtaining support.
The way he speaks to us is through the Bible. Since we have been given free will to conduct our lives the way we see fit, it is our bad decisions that get us into trouble. However, many times our happiness hinges on the decisions and actions made by others.
Sometimes God allows bad things to happen to us to steer us in the right direction. Throughout our lives, we are presented with many forks in the road. Robert Frost wrote a famous poem called The Road Not Taken. His poem makes us wonder how our lives might have turned out if we had chosen a different road. We need God to pick the right one.
Reading the Bible should be a daily part of our lives to help us decide which road to take as we travel through this life. Since I have been a Christian for many years, using my Dakes Annotated KJV Bible and having read the whole Bible through once, the New Testament several times, Psalms/Proverbs many times, and choosing random scriptures frequently, I am familiar with the style used by the authors.
The Old Testament is hard to read and understand, but each chapter has a purpose. I found an excellent website by Jeffrey Kranz that has a one-sentence description of each chapter, all 66 books of the Old and New Testament of the Bible. Check out the website: https://overviewBible.com/books-of-the-bible.
This helps to give an overall view of what happened in the beginning when God created the world, the middle where people attempted to worship him, the problems encountered along the way, why Jesus came to earth, how the gospel was spread, and what will happen at the end of a Christian’s life.
In quickly scanning down this list of chapters, I have just written about, you can see that over thousands of years, God’s people have endured many upheavals and problems, rebelled at times, but they have also had many successes along the way.
Maybe this is why God decided to send Jesus down to earth…to stabilize matters. From Jesus’ time on, God’s religion has flourished as Christianity for those who believe that he is God’s son.
For someone who is new to the Christian religion and wants to know more about Jesus by reading the Bible, some of the writing styles of the scriptures may be a little difficult to read and comprehend, no matter what translation is used. Remember…the Bible has gone through many translations. I will write more about this in the next chapter. I still use my King James Version (KJV) but quote other scripture versions in this book.
The King James Version of the Bible, released in 1611, was authorized by King James to have as accurate a translation as possible, which could be printed and widely circulated. The original Old Testament writings were in Hebrew and the New Testament in Greek. As per Bibleinfo.com
Establishing a close and intimate relationship, such as one of man and wife, best friends, and God, both parties must be committed and interested in making the relationship work. Reading and digesting the scriptures is the only way to get close to God.
A pastor once said that it is like having a white dog and a black one inside of you. Whichever dog you feed the most is the one who will control your life.
If either of the parties involved in any relationship has a shallow or lukewarm interest in the other, the relationship lacks the adhesive qualities that will glue them together for a lifetime. Incompatibility is why the divorce rate is so high.
An estimated 80% of couples are headed in the direction of divorce within their first four to five years of marriage. This startling, however common, the trajectory is often because of decreased passion and excitement in the relationship according to wevorce.com.
God is interested in establishing an intimate relationship and wants it to be a vibrant, exciting, and passionate bond, not just a Sunday morning excursion to the church. There needs to be a hunger to hear the word of God.
Luke 10:27 (NIV)He (Jesus) answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
To establish such a bond with God, we must be interested in everything about him; how he came into being, history of his past and endurance, and what he offers the relationship. Being interested in him will create intimacy. He already knows everything about us.
I have five goals in writing this book. I hope to…
Prove to the reader that God exists by reading about my experience. However, it will depend on whether the reader believes me or not. I don’t lie and certainly would not lie about something so important. This miracle is available to all that covet the experience.
Explain what it means to follow Jesus; to explain some of the essential laws of God and how to create an intimate relationship with him. Many people have a lackadaisical attitude about following his laws. In reading the scriptures, it is evident that God is not a trophy for everyone
spirit and feels that everyone should earn their reward.
Enlighten the reader as to the importance of forgiving others if they want their sins to be forgiven.
Point out how important a role churches play in a Christian’s life; why churches are established to serve as a meeting place to encourage and support each other and are not established to discourage each other with gossip, backbiting, and more.
Show why a Christian goes through trials and tribulations; how a person’s choices in life determine one’s fate; to toughen us up to withstand the adversities of life, tests us to prove we truly love God no matter what, and to demonstrate that we are fit to enter Heaven after death.
I have copied and pasted a lot of information from websites in this book but being acutely aware of copyright laws, I have provided a reference to these sites. I could have paraphrased the words, but that wouldn’t be fair. There is no way that I would be able to structure the words
