About this ebook
Coping with Loss and Dealing with Grief: The Stages of Grief and 20 Simple Ways on How to Get Through the Bad Days.
ABOUT THIS BOOK:
You know how the total preoccupation of coping with loss and dealing with grief affects every aspect of your being and your life? This will gradually lessen over time as you slowly move forward at your own pace through the stages of grief. Even if it takes a second at a time, then a minute or a day, one day you will notice that there is a bright blue sky, and you will feel less consumed by grief. Without realising it over time you will have adjusted to the "new normal", ready to create fresh memories. You will eventually discover that you have moved forward slowly, not completely, but gradually in spite of you only want your loved one back, in spite of your heartbreak.
This book contains the stages of grief and various aspects of loss and grief. There are 20 simple ways to help get you through the bad days and as a bonus a few more ways; 50 in total.
No one should live in a painful, draining and negative state. An unhappy mindset and attitude to life after a loss can only lead to a downward spiral and possibly depression.
Coping with grief in a healthy way will enable you to slowly but surely get your life back into a positive light.
Acknowledge your loved one's contributions to your life, and the joy they brought to others. Consider how blessed you are for having known them and allow your light to shine once again. Your loved ones will always be a part of you, and nothing will change that. It is all about how you learn to cope with the grief and to accept that they have moved on because, just like us, they are still part of a perfect and much bigger and grander plan.

PART ONE
INTRODUCTION
Whatever your circumstance or story, saying goodbye to a loved one is a complex process with many difficult steps. If you are not ready to let go and good bye, take your time, it is a natural and gradual process that occurs over a long period of time, and it varies from individual to individual. The journey through grief is emotionally exhausting and it is time consuming of your energy, thoughts and feelings. You will walk through life as if in a bubble, completely oblivious of what is going on around you. Life is never the same again and your world feels like it has come crashing down, and you cannot fix it.
During the early bad days try to take your time to pause and pay attention to the present moment observing the details of the world around you if you can. Try to appreciate the sights, smells, sounds and tastes that you experience, besides the sad thoughts and upsetting feelings that will go through your mind when things are not so pleasant.
Coping with Loss & Bereavement
Every day seems like a bad day and you are frozen in time and in grief. The overwhelming effort of everyday living and non-stop demands can become too great to bear. We can give up and let ourselves become swamped and pulled down by our emotional overload. When we are in such a state, it can be difficult to find a way out, to ‘see the light’, and be able to feel normal again. It is essential to
